I’ve taken a much needed mental break these past couple weeks with school starting back up again. Ive been itching to get back to my clay! The past couple weeks, I had been pondering over these colors in my head, and now I’ve brought them to life!
Each color, with the exception of one, is uniquely mixed from other colors. I love fall colors, but I also wanted to add my personal touch on the traditional colors. 💁🏽‍♀️

I’m so excited to announce that I will have a brand new collection coming out very soon!

Along with a new collection, there will also be a different ordering process. Because I’m a high school teacher, I’m in the process of preparing to teach from home! Teaching virtually brings it’s own challenges especially with a toddler at home 💕

That being said, instead of made to order products, there will only be a certain number of pre-made products available. Once those are sold, there won’t be anymore until I restock the collection. This process is more attainable for me in this next season of life (virtual teaching) and I want to thank you for embarking on this journey with me 💕

I’m slowly learning what it feels like to make something that’s my style.

I can’t really explain how I frustrated I felt when looking for inspiration. Feeling like anything I made had hints of other creators in the style. I’m learning how to pour myself into my craft and what it’s like to be original. I’m not there yet, but I think I’ve taken the first steps in that direction. It felt like I started this business/hobby with not much of a plan in mind. My impatience caused me to jump head first without planning my journey. Sometimes that’s a good thing but in this case I feel like a plan would have been beneficial to my creative process.

That being said, I sense a product revamp coming soon with pieces that are more MY style. 💕 Thank you all for embarking on this journey with me. I will always remember you for sticking with me from the beginning. And thank you to .cotta.clay & for being great role models for the clay world 😀 Go check them out if you haven’t already!
