Theo would like to remind you that . This weekend I spent time with just my pups & it was fantastic. We took care of ourselves, were very intentional with our time, & enjoyed every moment! 🌞🌲🐾💙 [And notice the inherent lack of snow?! 😱 This is more like October weather.]

Winter Solstice is approaching 🥰

The winter solstice time is no longer celebrated as it once was, with the understanding that this is a period of descent and rest, of going within our homes, within ourselves and taking in all that we have been through, all that has passed in this full year which is coming to a close... like nature and the animal kingdom around us, this time of hibernation is so necessary for our tired limbs, our burdened minds.

Our modern culture teaches avoidance at a max at this time; alcohol, lights, shopping, overworking, over spending, comfort food and consumerism.
And yet the natural tug to go inwards as nearly all creatures are doing is strong and the weather so bitter that people are left feeling that winter is hard, because for those of us without burning fires and big festive families, it can be lonely and isolating. Whereas in actual fact winter is kind, she points us in her quiet soft way towards our inner self, towards this annual time of peace and reflection, embracing the darkness and forgiving, accepting and loving embracing goodbye the past year.

"Winter takes away the distractions, the buzz, and presents us with the perfect time to rest and withdraw into a womb like love, bringing fire & light to our hearth".
. and then, just around the corner the new year will begin again, and like a seed planted deep in the earth, we will all rise with renewed energy once again to dance in the sunlight

Life is a gift ❤ a Happy winter to you all...

I’m scared.

I was invited to attend a public event to promote my Reiki business. I’ve never done this before. I don’t even know what to do?

But then I started thinking about the things I could offer at a public market.

I could book Reiki sessions.

I could offer Oracle card pulls.

I could propagate & sell aloe vera babies.

I could make manifestation bracelets & explain them to people.

I could make Morse code bracelets.

Honestly, I could just put myself out there? What a terrifying thought 🥴

But I’m doing it. I am doing it scared.

And it simultaneously makes me feel so excited. Even if I don’t book or sell anything, I’m presenting myself as a healer, a reader, & a creator. It’s everything I wanted to be. Everything I’m meant to be.

I love plants, for this reason. You can tell the difference between a plant that has an illness & a plant that needs to be repotted to something bigger, something with room for growth.

I am leaving my relationship so I can create a container big enough for my own growth & development. I have outgrown the box that comes with an old book of rules.

What have you done for yourself to grow, lately?

Me: Hello Universe.

Universe: Hello...

Me: I'm falling apart. Can you put me back together?

Universe: I'd rather not.

Me: Why?

Universe: Because you're not a puzzle.

Me: What about all the pieces of my life that fall to the ground?

Universe: Leave them there for a while. They fell for a reason. Let them be there for a while and then decide if you need to get any of those pieces back.

Me: You don't understand! I'm breaking up!

Universe: No, you don't understand. You're transcending, evolving. What you feel are growing pains. You're getting rid of the things and people in your life that are holding you back. The pieces are not falling down. The pieces are putting in place. Relax. Take a deep breath and let those things you no longer need fall down. Stop clinging to pieces that are no longer for you. Let them fall. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will I have left?

Universe: Only the best pieces of yours.

Me: I'm afraid to change.

Universe: I keep telling you: YOU'RE NOT CHANGING! YOU'RE BECOMING!

Me: Becoming, Who?

Universe: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light, love, charity, hope, courage, joy, mercy, grace and compassion. I made you for so much more than those shallow pieces you decided to adorn yourself with and that you cling to with so much greed and fear. Let those things fall off you. I love you! Don't change! Become! Don't change! Become! Become who I want you to be, who I created. I'm gonna keep telling you this until you remember.

Me: There goes another piece.

Universe: Yes. Let it be like this.

Me: So... I'm not broken?

Universe: No, but you're breaking the darkness, like dawn. It's a new day. Become!! Become who you really are!!"
