This Small Business Saturday feature is a company located right here in Chattanooga, Seahorse Snacks! Stacy Martin was diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic mutation known as CDH1 that gave her an 80% of developing stomach cancer. She opted for a gastrectomy, a surgery that removes all or part of the stomach. As a result, Martin has to eat frequently in order to keep up her energy throughout the day. She realized that nuts, especially when combined with a unique spice blend she developed, are the perfect protein-packed snack to support her through the day.
