WISHES ON DANDELIONS

I've always made wishes
Since I was a little kid
Can't begin to remember
All the things that I did
I remember making wishes
On dandelions and such 🤞
I wished for magical powers
Wasn't asking too much 🪄✨

Some kids asked for money
Others wanted fancy toys
But I wasn't the same
As other little boys
I blew wishes on dandelions
Same with candles on a cake 🕯️
On constellations like Big Dipper
Late at night as I stayed awake✨

I was raised in Little Mexico
That's the name of my Hood
Our piggy bank was empty 🐖
But we were always good
Growing up in the Hood
I hoped and I wished
On four leaf clovers 🍀
Rabbits feet, and cray-fish 🐇

I wished on shooting stars ⭐
On lightning bugs in glass jars
Even wished upon a rock
And sent wishes to Mars 🌌
Don't remember my wishes
But I know one came true
Because I'm still breathing
Still got some wishin' to do

Barely alive, all I have is my soul
But all that glitters, sure ain't gold
I'm not dead yet, in a casket cold
Still got time, before I fold
To wish on Dandelions if I choose
I'm still broke as Hell 😆
I got nothing to lose 🔥

Next time I see a Dandelion
Patiently waiting for me
I'll blow a wish to the sky
Offering the God's my plea ⚖️
If my heart's still beating
If I'm alive and I'm free
Then my wish came true
That's good enough for me ❤️

I don't care about money
A gold watch or a necklace
I'll watch black and white TV
Young and the Restless
I'll keep wishing on wishbones
And shells from the sea 🐚
I'll wish on every white horse
That my eyes can see

I'll wish on an eye lash
And every star that's bright 🌠
On feathers and pennies
At 11:11 at night ⏰
I'll wish on lady- bugs 🐞
On full Moons and Buddha

Even a Barracuda 🐠

Make wishes on blood

I just wrote this poem at 2:00 am. Can't keep my eyes open so I'll separate stanzas and edit tomorrow!
"MY TRAIN WRECK!

I wrote this poem because a sweet girl asked me for help one day, and so I helped her...Then, she gave me this feather and said it's for protection. 🤍 🖤 I thought about this feather and it inspired me to write a poem. My intention was to write about Angels, but my pen has a mind of it's own..lol.. 🖋️
I titled my poem "Less than a feather" 🪶 ❤️ ⚖️

"LESS THAN A FEATHER"

Darkness and light 🤍 🖤
Like the key to a lock
They combine for a purpose
As the hands on a clock
They balance the scales
The day we depart
The weight of a feather
Should be more than your heart

There's still time on the clock
To spread love and light
I cast a spell on my pen
Then I write all night
Words fly from my heart 🖤
Like a dove in the sky 🕊️
I owe every breath
To the Man up high 🤍

I believe in magic 🪄 ✨
It's inside of me
I try to shine bright
To make sure you can see
I plant magical seeds
With love from spirit
I try to answer the Universe
Whenever I hear it 🙏

This gift is a miracle
With Infinite worth
I thank God for my blessings
For my time here on Earth
I hope a feather weighs more
Than the mistakes I've made
When God brings the scales
And they both are weighed

I throw love at the world
Like a magical dart
To be a beacon of light
With my poems and art
I shine like a lighthouse
During life's bad weather
When the scales weigh my heart
Hope it's less than a feather

While weathering a storm today,
I spoke to the Universe, and asked for peace, love, and protection! Then, I looked on the ground and saw this White feather! ❤️ 🤍 ✨🪶 ⭐ SO, I spoke to the Universe again! This time, I asked "the God'" to bless my feather with peace, love, and protection, for myself and for anyone soul who comes into the presence of my feather!🪶 🤍 ✨ ❤️ ⭐ ✨ ✨

Said I wasn't coming back to this house like an hour ago! Now here I am, cooking on the stove. Lol 😂 Leaving tomorrow though! Probably leaving the whole damn state! Maybe to Montana! ❤️
