Since my water is still frozen and I can't get any work done I just worked in my sketchbook without water. Well, I had a cup of water for working in the sketchbook.

This is an experimental project I did last year. I dripped paint into the glass bulb then swished it around to mix the paint and get the designs. It's rather laborish so I didn't do too many.

You know what is annoying? As soon as I post new artwork on Instagram I get tons of messages saying they love my work and want to buy them as NFTs. I consider NFT as not real and only a fad. So annoying. Or messages to post them on this or that page or send them in a private message to the administration of a page. Hello, no. My work. Not sending it to some else's page.

A little something I made for a friend.

Saw some awesome light and shadow design on my kitchen floor this morning. Sunlight coming through the lace curtain. I grabbed one of my unfinished paintings and laid it down, shooed off the cats, and took photos. Two photos with a b/w photo also. Cool ugh?

These were the paintings I submitted to the Appalachian Arts Show. "Points of Lights" and "Sunday Morning Vibes". One of them was accepted.

"Pear Trees" Playing with my phone filters.

This started out as a non objective painting but turned into a landscape. I always love seeing fog on the lake in the morning with the sunrise peeking . Or it could also be a sunset on the lake. It is 18 x 24 mixed media on canvas. I may put it in my zazzle store for prints. I don't know yet. I have to get a really good picture first. The phone camera doesn't really show them subtle colors and textures.

I have been struggling with this painting for the longest time. It started as an non objective but after turning it around and around I discovered an abstract landscape.i don't feel like it's completely done, so i'm going to let it sit while I work on something else. Don't be shy to tell me what you think.
