Teaching women to love God and His Word
❤️ Thankful Tuesday ❤️
Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome back to Thankful Tuesdays! This is an opportunity for someone to share one attribute of God, church or fellowship event they are thankful for, or how they are thankful for God growing them in their personal life.
Here is our sister, Sarah, sharing about what she is thankful for! 😃
One way I consistently see God working in my personal life is through my friendship with my Dear sister Naomi! ✨Just last month I had the privilege of being able to move in with my Best friend Naomi which has grown me 🌱 in so many ways. Our friendship has grown strong over the past year of knowing one another, and I am very thankful for God providing me with a friend that Loves the Lord and truly lives to serve Him. Naomi has shown me what true selflessness and compassion is, by seeing her heart for serving 💞and loving others I have been spurred on to be more thoughtful of others. 😊🙌 Gods grace is so apparent in all areas of my life but one of my many favorite displays of Gods grace and his thoughtfulness is his plan of bringing Naomi into my life!🙌🏼

🙏 Meditation Monday 🙏
Woohoo start of a new week! 🎉Meditation Monday is back with another attribute of God and verse to meditate on throughout your day.
Today we can meditate on God's aseity!
✨”’Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,’” Isaiah 46:9✨
God’s attribute of aseity is pertaining to His independence. Unlike man, He depends on nothing and no one for His existence because He is self-existing and self-sustaining! There is no God like Him who is the creator and the source of all things created. His autonomy is absolute! He relies on no one and nothing other than Himself, because He alone is all-sustaining and powerful. Men on the other hand, are created as dependent beings who constantly need God as a source of hope and life! May we grow in a greater worship and dependence of Him, who is able to provide for us in every season of life. 🙌🏼

🖐️ Serving Saturday 🖐️
We're back with another Serving Saturday where we share how someone is joyfully 😃 serving at their local church!
🌹 Here’s how one of our sisters, Jann, is serving the church. ⛪
The Lord has been extremely gracious to me, providing many opportunities to serve Him within the church ⛪️ and beyond. From behind-the-scenes to participating in mission trips ✈️, I’ve been blessed with many ways to glorify Him through my service. One of the ways I have grown 🌱 in my service is through Women’s Ministry. ✨I cherish the chance to serve alongside other sisters, caring for and encouraging the women of RGC. Whether working behind the scenes or taking a more visible role, it’s always a joy to think of new ways to nurture and encourage our fellow sisters, strengthening our friendships and encouraging each woman to hold a high view of God and His Word. 📖 A way that I strive to serve with a good attitude is through daily prayer 🙏 that reflects Christ’s humility and love. As the ultimate example of humility, Christ ✝️ came to serve the Father with profound humility, extending that same love to those around Him. I aim to follow His example, growing in my humble service to bring glory to the Father through excellence in all I do.✨

Woohoo start of a new week! 🎉Meditation Monday is back with another attribute of God and verse to meditate on throughout your day.

✨”For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good.” Psalm 107:9✨
God's goodness is evident in countless ways, for He is truly good. Those who dwell in the goodness of the Lord are satisfied and are content with all their blessings because God gives good things abundantly! Let us reflect on the myriad ways God's goodness manifests in our daily lives, from the smallest details to the grandest gifts. May we remember that the Father we worship is always good and has provided us every good thing to live pertaining to godliness! 🙌🏼

👨👩👦 Fellowship Friday 👨👩👦
We're back with another Fellowship Friday! 🙌 Today we will be highlighting CAYS! ⛪
Here is a testimonial from one of our sisters, Meg, about CAYS Summer Small Group:
CAYS Summer SG has been really fun! 🤩I’ve been really enjoying Kristen’s devos about different disciplines and being able to discuss how we want to grow 🌱 in our disciplines. This last small group we talked about discipline of the mind 🧠 and how we should be putting off worldly thinking 🌏 and putting on right thinking by dwelling on the Word 📖. It’s also been fun getting to know everyone better through our icebreakers and having extended fellowship afterward at the post small group hangouts!✨🙏🏼

🌊Coastal Brunch Recap Testimonial🌊
Just over a week ago, the women enjoyed the beautiful summer weather at our Coastal Brunch 🌊🥐 on the beach! 🏖️ It was a memorable time filled with fun beach-themed activities, sweet times of fellowship over brunch and discussion, and encouragement from God’s Word! 📖 Veonna shared a testimony about the joys of marriage and Kristen taught a short lesson on “True Greatness”! From the lesson, we learned from Christ’s perfect example of humility through Him seeking for the Father’s will to be done, submitting to His will, and serving others joyfully and sacrificially!
Here is what our sister, Janitzia, took away from the short lesson:
It was so fun to attend the Coastal Brunch for this year's women summer events! The lesson that Kristen taught about "True Greatness" showed me that I was seeing 'greatness' with a worldly view, as having power over others. But it was refreshing to hear that true greatness is defined by Christ himself! ✝️ How He served one another in humility, and how He sacrificed His life for us (Mark 10:41-45). Some ways that Christ showed this humility was by living to exalt the Father, elevating other's needs above His own, and expanding Himself in service for others. As opposite from the world, we are called to live a selfless life by walking 👣 in humility to serve others, as it says in Ephesians 2:2-4. One way I want to apply this lesson is to seek and submit to God's will, even when I have to put other's needs over mine. Not doing this with a prideful and complaining heart, but to do it out of love and humility, as we see in Philippians 2:2-4. ❤️
It truly is so amazing to consider Christ’s humility and learn how to cultivate humility in our own lives! We will be continuing this series on “Nurturing a Humble Heart” at our next event, Stretching on Sunshine! ☀️ Jann will teach a short lesson on “Depending Upon God’s Grace,” where we will learn more about how a humble woman sees God’s grace in her own life and depends upon Him! Hope to see you there! 💕

✨Quote of the Day✨
✨“When we have a fear of God, it will make our worship serious; when we have a joy in God, it will make our worship durable.” - Stephen Charnock✨
Romans 12:1 says “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”
Our service to God is worship! And our worship should be both serious, considering the holiness of our God, and joyful. 😊 Our lives are to be living sacrifices, holy, and acceptable worship to God. May we have joyful and worshipful hearts as we serve God each day!
✍️Share with us in the comments one way you want to grow in your heart for service and worship to God! 🌸

🙏 Meditation Monday 🙏
Woohoo start of a new week! 🎉 Meditation Monday is back with another attribute of God and verse to meditate on throughout your day.
Today we can meditate on God’s love!
✨“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)” Ephesians 2:4-5 ✨
Let us give thanks to the Lord for the Father's love toward His children! 💞It brings us joy and comfort to abide in His love, knowing that He loved us even in our most unworthy state. We cannot earn or merit salvation, yet God, in His grace, chose to love us and sent His Son as the perfect sacrifice for our redemption. 🙌 May our love and reverence for the Lord deepen continually, and may we reflect God's love to others in all we do.✨
✍️Share with us in the comments one way you see God’s love in your life! 😃

📖 Scripture Sunday 📖
Welcome back to Scripture Sunday where we share a verse from the Psalms to get you thinking about how you can worship and praise God! 🙏
Today’s verse is Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”✨
Just as David genuinely desired to be righteous and holy before the Father, may we also grow in our pursuit of holiness and godliness in our life. As God commands us to be holy just as He is holy, let us approach His throne of grace with confidence, repenting of any hindrances and disobediences, assured of His gracious forgiveness. Praise the Lord for the Holy Spirit within us, guiding us to walk uprightly and obediently. May we increasingly align our hearts to hate what God hates and desire what pleases Him.🙏🤩
✍️ Share with us in the comments how God has been growing you in appreciating His will! 😊

🎵 Worship Wednesday 🎵
Welcome back to Worship Wednesday where we share some song lyrics and a verse with you to help you increase in your worship of God throughout the week! 🙏🏻
Today's song is “The Power of the Cross”, and it speaks of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross to completely forgive guilty sinners. Christ’s death showed the greatest love and came at the highest cost. His perfect, sinless life was slain for us. Now we stand forgiven, having been justified, and we enjoy fellowship with God through Christ! ✝️ May we worship and praise Christ, with great thankfulness, for saving us! 🙌
✨“Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.” - Isaiah 53:4-5✨

❤️ Thankful Tuesday ❤️
Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome back to Thankful Tuesdays! This is an opportunity for someone to share one attribute of God, church or fellowship event they are thankful for, or how they are thankful for God growing them in their personal life.
Here is our sister, Christine, sharing about what she is thankful for! 😃
I am very thankful for God's goodness. 😀He has abundantly blessed me with so much opportunity to spend time with the church through many events to serve, or being served or simply through spending time with one another! 🙌🏼✨For example, I spent time with Rock Solid families and learned about what a fruitful and loving marriage💍 looks like. Then there were two servant auction dinners where the brothers of the church ⛪️generously hosted and made dinner for the sisters and I got to do the same with other sisters (Mia and Sarah) for other brothers! In each instance, I am reminded of the selflessness of Christ on the cross ✝️ and the blessed joy that we have now to freely worship and care for one another because of His sacrifice. These events were a small taste of my recent experiences with the church. God is good!🙌🏼

🇦🇺Australia Missions 2024 Recap🇦🇺
It was super fun getting to know the Village church ⛪️ members individually and hearing about the ways they are building up their current members and own families! ✨I was greatly encouraged by their hospitality and selflessness throughout the whole entire trip. ✈️ It was really neat to see them selflessly, so our team and especially during the Emotions Conference. 🙌All of our speakers did a wonderful job delivering each of their messages which was not only an encouragement to our team members, but to all the attendees as well! What a joy to see God’s Word 📖 go forth and make an impact! All the women that I have spoken to during the conference was so encouraged and spurred on to utilize their emotions for God’s glory! 🙌📖

🖐️ Serving Saturday 🖐️
We're back with another Serving Saturday where we share how someone is joyfully 😃 serving at their local church!
🌹 Here’s how one of our sisters, Christine, is serving the church. ⛪
Hi church fam, I’ve been serving in various ministries specific to the ways that God has gifted and made me 🥰 in my gift of helps and mercy plus my creativity and hospitality! Lately I’ve been serving in serving dinner and praying for others on Prayer Warriors, creative & decor team for Kainos, filming & graphics for CBH,🎥🎬 head barista at thrive cafe 🫡, RGCKids and hospitality lead on Growth team! And I try to find more opportunities to serve in between those if I see a need 😊 One way that I try to have a good attitude in my serve is to reflect on Christ’s humility ✝️and selfless love 💞 in his earthly ministry. When I’m challenged to be physically tired or find myself unmotivated, I try to remember that Jesus gave his life so that we would be saved and do good works. I should give my live to him now and love his church as he did, selflessly in humility. I have a lot of room to grow 🌱 in this and by God’s grace I will continue to grow! I refocus on Christ and see the bigger picture of service! Praying for grace to imitate Christ in his service 🙏🏻 I’m thankful that I can serve in the ways that God has specifically made me suitable and most effective in!✨

🍓Fruitful Friday🍓
Happy Friday friends! We're back with Fruitful Friday where someone will share about how God is bearing fruit in their life or in someone else in the church!
Here is our sister, Mia, sharing about how God has been producing fruit in our sister Julia’s life! 😃
It has been encouraging to see God grow Julia in taking initiative and caring for sisters 👯♀️ around her specifically through her thoughtfulness in asking for prayer requests 🙏 and following up with them! Her example in setting goals to be more involved in others’ lives and committed to memorizing Scripture 📖 to meditate more on God’s Word throughout her day spurs me on to be faithful to my Scripture memorization goals. Praise God for growing 🌱 Julia in her desire to seize witnessing opportunities so that others may learn who God truly is! ✝️ I am thankful for the ways God has grown our friendship and how Julia shares Scripture with me to direct my thoughts to focus on God! 🙌
