Bulgar and Red Lentil Soup. Delicious and hearty - made with cupboard staples. Highly recommend for the colder days. I served it with toasted cheese sandwiches as some in the family consider soup to be a drink and not a meal in itself! 🤪🧡🍂🧡

Here’s a great recipe to try. The Whole Orange Cake 🍊. Add a whole (quartered) orange to the Thermomix with butter and blitz. Then all all other ingredients as directed (the Thermomix weighs the ingredients as you add them) - mix and pour into your baking tin.
The recipe has a rich and flavoured syrup. I skipped that this time opting to make a simple buttercream - switching out milk or orange essence for some freshly squeezed orange juice.
Decorated simply with some dehydrated orange slices which helped to use up the leftovers and made a pretty addition to the cake.
E-N-E-R-G-Y Balls! Looking for a slightly healthier option to curb your sugar cravings and get you over the afternoon slump? Enter these little guys!
Made with only 4 ingredients:
Pecan Nuts
Dates
Pinch of salt
Coconut (to coat)
High energy, full flavour, I know exactly what’s in them and they were super simple to make! 🙌 💥
Classic Leftovers Lunch for the win 🏆
Soup:
When I make soup I tend to freeze it and take out when I need. I have silicone trays that hold one cup per serve - the easiest way to store per portion and only use what you need. (I must remember to label it though! I can’t quite remember which soup it was … definitely had courgette in though ☺️).
Irish Soda Bread & Hummus:
I also had some Irish Soda Bread knocking around which I topped with ‘Best Basic Hummus’ - made on the weekend and half an avocado that was languishing in the fridge.
Batch cooking and freezing is a really simple way to use your leftovers and reducing food waste. And of course, it tastes delicious thanks to it all being made with my Thermomix!

Pork Belly Ramen. Yummy! This is a fantastic Thermomix meal. Make the broth in the mixing bowl while steaming the marinaded meat in the steamer basket and Varoma. Add brocolli and whole eggs to the Varoma towards the end of the cooking time - simply heat your fresh ramen noodles with boiling water and then assemble. Ta Da! Delicious and far more nutritious than instant noodles (popular with teenagers everywhere!).
Lemon 🍋 curd filled Macrons! 🎉🙌 Are they perfect? Absolutely not! They started to brown a little too much and half the batched flopped. These cute little cakes are not easy to perfect, but this is my second attempt and I’m more than happy that I came this far. I’ll definitely try again - but we’re a looooong way off these becoming my ‘go-to’ party piece. Do you have a recipe that you’d love to perfect? Let me know! (PS - shout out to the Thermomix which gives me the confidence to even try these!!! 💛) Xx
Homemade Portuguese Bread - urgh! This is just so lovely and simple! 4 ingredients, added to your Thermomix. It mixes and proves all in the bowl. Let it prove for 2 hours, tip into your loaf tin and bake. No mess, no fuss - just beautiful, artisany bread. I made it for school lunches, but it’s also excellent for mum lunches! ☺️
