Unfortunately,Our M.P. CERT , and Manatee County Safety District will not be able to do the “ HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS “ and “CERT” presentation on August 8th for a major issues in our Amenity Center (AC and drywall ).
We will update any future presentation as soon as the work is done.
This event is very important for us so we will be looking forward to have it done as soon as possible.

Be Careful …!

A Heat Advisory will be in affect today from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Stay hydrated and stay inside when possible. Children, the elderly, and those with chronic illness are especially vulnerable to heat exposure. Check on them often.

ADVISORIES | Tropical storm warnings have been issued for Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, DeSoto, Hardee and Highlands counties. Rain will be the main impact here. Wind gusts over 30 mph are possible in heavier rain squalls but overall the wind will not be an issue.

Wow! These storms this morning are prolific lightning producers. Each has produced over 500 strikes in the last half hour, that's over 1,000 strikes per hour. Stay inside if you get caught under or even near one of these storms. Remember, if you hear thunder you are now close enough to get struck by lightning.

...ELSA STRENGTHENS TO A HURRICANE...

Surface observations from Barbados indicate that Elsa's maximum sustained winds have increased to near 75 mph, and the cyclone is now a hurricane. A special advisory will be issued within the hour in place of the normal intermediate advisory.

* The Meteorological Service of Barbados has issued Hurricane Warning for Barbados, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines.
* The Meteorological Service of St. Lucia has issued a Hurricane Warning for St. Lucia.

The Meteorological Service of Barbados reported a sustained wind of 74 mph and a gust to 86 mph.
