I am stepping up on my soap box after reading this article and learning that only 40% of people floss & only 27% of men do, coupled with recently discovering how many more of my male clients need dentures.

One of biggest confusions about Supplement (Medigap) plans vs. Advantage plans is with pre-existing conditions.

Supplement plans require underwriting (looking at pre-existing conditions) UNLESS you have just turned 65 (within 6 months) or you have left Employer coverage (within 8 months) and a few other rare instances (check Medicare.gov). Advantage plans NEVER ask about pre-existing conditions (except for ESRD, which is being removed for 2021).
