Students of ISHRAE PCCE Chapter students attended Regional Chapters Conference at Bogmalo Beach Resort

PACERS are at it again.... This time to save
our future, nurture the present and appreciate the past that
our ancestors have left behind. The Soil is the great connector of our lives, the source and destination of all. It provide anchorage for roots, hold water and nutrients. And to highlight its importance, the students of Padre Conceicao College of Engineering in association with the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Goa Chapter organised an awareness program "PACERS SAVE SOIL MOVEMENT". A global initiative to spread awareness about the deteriorating soil condition. The Save soil movement was initiated by Sadguru Jaggi Vasudeva to address the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for Soil Health, and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions toward
increasing the organic content in cultivable Soil. The dignitaries present for the event were Regional Director West I for ISHRAE Mr Mihir Sanghvi, Environmentalist Mr Rajendra Kerkar, Member of Isha Foundation Mrs Maura
Afonso, President of ISHRAE Goa chapter Mr. Balkrishna Chodankar, Principal Dr Mahesh Parappagoudar and Head,
Department of Mechanical Engineering Dr Geethalakshmi
K. The event was held under the guidance of the student's
activity chair of ISHRAE Goa chapter, Mr Mohnish Borker.

"Soil is the habitat, upon which zillions of lives thrive. Because of that thriving life, everything grows, we eat food, other animals grow, everything happens because the soil is rich." ~Sadhguru.

We at under the student chapter of ISHRAE have initiated the 'Save soil movement' in Goa. We have organized a social awareness program on SAVE SOIL on the 14th of May 2022 . The event aims to create awareness about the importance of soil amongst the students and the faculty through different activities. We request all of you to support this movement by participating in a huge number and contribute to this Nobel cause.

The PCCE students chapter of ISHRAE organised a field visit to Joecons Marine Exports in Cuncolim Industrial Estate.The students got an opportunity to see some most advanced HVACR system for fish freezing and processing.
