I recenlty added "Riders on the Storm" to the song list with a track created by myself playing all guitar and bass parts. Of course, I had to add a live performance on my faithful Rhodes piano purchased in 1980. I have really enjoyed putting this together along with the rain, thunder and lightning from from MIDI driven DMX controlled lighting. Don't forget to make your own Twitch account, follow VintageMuso and turn on notifications so will be know when I am going live. Join me on Tuesday and Thursday's at 8 pm AEST.

I wrote this song in 1980 when I was 20 years old. It tries to capture the possible thoughts of the disciple Peter when he discovered that Jesus was risen from the dead.

So, the lesson for today is "it pays to ask!" Or more accurately, "it pays to ask in a song, gently!".
The Follow Song It pays to simply ask - "Give me a Follow". I was just jamming along trying to encourage viewers to follow me on Twitch. An idea for a song sprang to mind, a...
I’m thinking I should try this song on my Twitch stream. Something for everyone in it!

Early morning Muso walk. Sky is full of music.
I recorded this version of "Still Got the Blues" for Patrick Wight's Twitch stream birthday bash . Patrick's birthday falls on St Patrick's Day so the theme was Irish music. This isn't quite Irish music but it was written by an Irish man, Gary Moore.

My brother once asked me "Do I find it hard to sing?". I said no. He said "Funny, I find it hard to listen!" Maybe this song is an example of what he was talking about. It is a bit of a stretch for me but I enjoy singing it. Its good to dream a little.😀
25 or 6 to 4 Cover - Live on Twitch 17/01/2023 I love this song. Its not really in my vocal range but I thought I'd give it ago and see what I could learn.

Here's a cover song from last week's Twitch Stream. I've always enjoyed the guitar riff in Echo Beach, and being a great escapist I love the concepts..."My job is very boring, I'm an office clerk" and "Waves make the only sound". Here's to more meaning, and peace and quiet in our lives!
Echo Beach - Twitch Stream Cover 2023_01_17 Recorded live on the VintageMuso Twitch stream 2023 01 17.
I want to say thank you to my supporters who have been checking in on my VintageMuso page. This is the second time in only a few weeks that I have been given the “Rising Creator” title.
Picked up a varied selection of LPs from a secondhand shop for $2 each. Don’t often find this quality of artists locally in our typical secondhand shop.
So here is the unruly pile of synth modules and effect units brought into line by the new rack. This should make my streaming background a little neater.
The guitar on the left is a Yamaha SG-1500 which I bought new in 1980. The guitar on the right is a Schecter PT Fastback II which I bought new in 2022. Considering that the SG was my main electric for 42 years and did all sorts of gigs with me, I think I did a good job of looking after it and it did a good job of not breaking down. I had the frets on the SG dressed for the first time this year after 42 two years of playing. The SG still looks pretty fresh!
Who hoo! Facebook has given me the title of “Rising Creator” this week. Thanks to everyone who has been checking out my posts.
That was quick! Ordered my new rack and accessories from Swamp Industries in Canberra last Friday and they arrived Tuesday. It’s time to get that unruly stack of synth modules organised….once I finish getting the house cleaned up for Christmas, of course. There are priorities!
This stack of equipment is getting out of hand! Just ordered a new rack to get it all in order.
