Saturday, doors open at 8 and wrestling begins at 9, Semis and Consolation Quartfinals, Consolation Semis, 3/4 & 5/6 matches, Finals.

Reminder that we are back at RCSJ for Districts this year! Wrestling is all day Saturday. Doors open at 9am and wrestling starts at 10am. It is $15 for adults $10 for seniors and students. We look forward to seeing you all there!

The team beat Great Bridge 34-30 to become the first NJ public school to win the American Division at Virginia Duals! Thank you to all the fans following at home and the fans that made the trip down! This was a team effort!!!!
Finals are about to start!
Your WEST DEPTFORD Eagles advance to the finals of the Virginia Duals with a 34-28 win over Skyline ( #7 in the State - VA)! The match came down to freshman Charles Schriver IV, who won in Overtime to seal the match!
The eagles will wrestle against Great Bridge at 8 PM for first place. WHY NOT US!!!!

West Deptford defeated Liberty (PA) 40-24 to advance to the semifinals! West Deptford will take on Skyline (VA) in the semi finals tomorrow at 1:30 PM !

Tonight, the Eagles traveled to Sterling High School to take on their Colonial Conference foe. The Eagles were victorious and picked up a dominating win (68-12) to improve their record to 8-1!
Eagles will be traveling down to Hampton, Virginia tomorrow to compete at the Virginia Duals this weekend! 🦅 🦅

Weekend Recap:
West Deptford Boys Wrestling competed at the Williamstown Duals where they took second place! The Eagles picked up three wins in their pool by defeating Egg Harbor Township (75-3), Timber Creek (64-15), and Ocean City (47-24). They then faced off in the finals against Hunterdon Central Regional where they lost 55-18.
West Deptford Wrestling is currently 7-1 and will be back in action on Wednesday against Sterling, before traveling down to Virginia for the Virginia Duals !
This weekend West Deptford Girls Wrestling competed in both the Lady Patriot Tournament (Saturday) and the SJWHOF Tournament (Sunday). Jaden Bennett was crowned champion in both tournaments beating a state place winner in each of her finals!
On January 4, 2024, West Deptford High School Wrestling beat their cross town rivals, Paulsboro, for the first time since 1968! The wrestlers came to wrestle and this was the definition of a team win. From start to finish, they all wrestled to the final whistle of each match and the coaches couldn’t be prouder of how each of them wrestled.
This is only the beginning for this Team! Back in action today at the Williamstown Duals.

December Recap:
The team started the dual meet season off with a three wins (3-0) by beating Woodstown (52-15), Williamstown (56-17), and Group 2/Colonial Conference rival, Haddonfield (31-24).
They also captured the Hammonton Kick-Off Classic TEAM TITLE! West Deptford had FIVE wrestlers take 1st place, Four wrestlers take 2nd place, Three wrestlers take 3rd place, One wrestler take 4th place, and One wrestler take 5th place to help them take home the team title.
🥇- Talen Terinoni, Brayden Curcio, Nick Graziano, Chris Andujar, and Andrew Tighe.
🥈- Ryan McConaghy, Owen Entrekin, Trevor Lundfelt, and Marcus Carter.
🥉- Anthony Conway-Popeskic, Nate Benner, and James Lorman.
4th place- Caleb Jackson
5th place- Van Galbraith
We then had two girls go to the Queen Of The East Wrestling tournament at Jackson Liberty. Jaden Bennett was crowned the Champion with a 3-1 victory in the finals over a state place winner !
The team then went to the prestigious Mustang Classic and came away with three place winners!

We also had JV Wresters attend the Brick Memorial JV tournament and came away with multiple place winners and champions!

West Deptford Girls also went to the Brick Memorial Girls Wrestling Tournament and Jaden Bennett took 2nd Place !

Great time at the Rutgers team camp! We had 3 individual “Kings of the Banks” and went undefeated in duals on the week going 10-0-1. Great start to summer wrestling!
Reminder we have the golf outing coming up! This even has been awesome and we want everyone to be apart of it!
