Hell yes y'all, we are the proud owners of a carousel! Here's a few more pictures of today's events. We were able to fit most of the carousel parts in the 26' box truck. We will have to go back for 8 more decking pieces & a couple wagons next weekend.

Carousel loading is underway! We had a little rain earlier today, so that cooled it down nicely for us so that we're not dripping in sweat... yet!
I'm super excited to announce that we are picking up the carousel tomorrow!!! We have a truck & enough bodies! Stay tuned for pictures of our progress!
I'm sad to say that we've made the decision to cancel picking up the carousel today due to not having enough bodies to help with the heavy lifting. We will plan another weekend to pick up the carousel.

We're super excited to announce that this week-end, June 26-27, 2021 is when we transport the carousel & take it to it's new home in Austin, TX! This is the moment we've been waiting for! Stay tuned for more updates!
Hey hey hey! We have some great news for you carousel lovers out there! It's happening, we will be purchasing the carousel later this month, which means that we are ramping up for the transport and the ongoing rehabilitation & creation of what will be an amazing art project. Hang on to your seats & stay tuned for updates about fund raising campaigns, events, & the potential for you to be involved in the process!!!
