From log to functional mallet for chiseling and carving. I wasn't sure what the log was, but once I cut into it I realized it was walnut!! Looks nice, grips well.

Sometimes the best time spent in the shop is spent building new tools. This is a table I built to use with my router. Its on wheels!

Sooo. When I made this African hardwood spoon last year the power was out and it was 10 degrees F outside.. In Texas! I wasn't sure what else to do, so I put on an led headlamp and started messing with some 'niove' hardwood, with no power. This is the result. I have to say its the best coffee spoon I have ever used.
