Despite the sombre tone set in your land,
your high spirits and hopefulness are recognised by the almighty.
May you see the day of sunshine very soon,
And May a heavy reward await you.

At the time, the Israeli government banned any displays of the Palestinian flag in the occupied territory.
Palestinians used the watermelon,revealing the same colors as the flag when sliced open, to represent what it means to be Palestinian.

Been a while since I’ve shown my mini canvases some lurv! These make great Eid gifts, or just as a gift in general.

How long has this taken me? Too long! But the process was worth every second of it. I’m so pleased with the outcome Alhamdulillah! 🫶🏽.
The four Quls, on 30cm diameter circle canvases, washed with a few pumps of blue alcohol ink.
Uqbah Ibn Amir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “No seeker of refuge can seek refuge with anything like these two (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas)”. [Abu Dawud]

“Nikkah” - Oil Painting.
I wanted to capture the beauty of marriage. It can definitely be tough and wearing and times but it’s a dual contract that can blossom into bliss and beauty if watered properly. Not only being a prophetic practice, in Islam marriage distributes an individuals responsibilities equally between them and their partner, even though it seemingly may not be the case upfront, there is wisdom from Allah in it. Here I have driven the motive of “when two become one” through this oil painting, and although I deem it to still be incomplete, I thought it was worth sharing, because let’s face it I’ve given up at this point 😭. Let me know what you all think below!

Took a short hiatus from the last post but how about this one! Alhamdulillah, after five tiresome hours I managed to complete this stunner for ‘s charity event this weekend! This piece depicts the essence of Remembering Allah, through dua and worship. Also scribed with a fragment of a Quranic verse - “verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest”.

Enjoying this WIP so far. It’s hard to keep telling yourself to trust the process in the thick of what seems like a messy blob of colour, but I think I’m doing ok so far :).

No, there’s no Qur’an verses visible in the painting… yet, but I couldn’t resist posting after being consumed with guilt each day abt my inactivity here.
This page is meant to bring something conceptual and unique, and I’m seriously trying to put that forward and gain consistency at the same time for you all. So enjoy this piece, this WIP, you know what they say about them though, once they’re left they’ll never be complete… so let’s see what happens !

The beginning of my journey begins Alhamdulillah; I intend to share snippets of my with you all and appreciate the perspectives of my intended compositions :).

Wait… how many times have I actually temporarily closed the shop down?! Anyway it’s happening again, yep, we’ll be away for only a short while this time round, I’ll be doing a flash sale on my story in the upcoming week, so there’ll be ready made pieces up for grabs and on my Etsy too.
As for now, I begin my new venture, fine art with oil paints. I’ve bought 1/2 the equipment I need, and It’ll take a short while before I get the ball rolling on this page.
I request you all to keep me in your duas, May Allah SWT place barakah in this new journey, and in all the small businesses out there!
