BJ Sauce Like A Boss

Now this is how you sauce like a boss!

Posted • Todays dinner was a steak (from ) dinnner with mash potato (from ) onions (from ), mushroom (from ) and cracked black pepper sauce (from )

I started by:

Leaving the steaks out on a plate to rest for 15 minutes and I peeled the potatoes in the mean time. I the seared the steaks with salt and pepper and let them rest for a further 5 minutes.

I then boiled the potatoes and flash fried the steak for 8 minutes in the frying pan and then let them rest. I cooked the mushrooms and onions in Kerrymaid butter as well as the juices of the steak on a low heat until the potatoes were done.

Once the potatoes were cooked, I put Kerrymaid butter and milk into the sauce pan and mashed then down and let them sit on a very low heat.

I then divided the mash potato into 3 portions onto a tray and topped it with the cooked steak as well as the onions and mushrooms. I then put this into the oven for 30 minutes.

With 5 minutes left on the timer I made the cracked black pepper sauce

Once the food was finished in the oven I served it onto a plate and covered it all in the cracked black pepper sauce.
