Work in progress πŸ–€ Finally painting again

Photos from Sarah Winter Gallery's post 17/06/2021

A sweet customer sent me pictures of a painting I did last year hanging in her new home, and it made my whole day. πŸ’™
It always shocks and amazes me that anybody likes anything that I do, but it touches my heart and soul when someone loves something of mine enough to want it in their home and space. She mentioned that she decorated the room around the painting, which is the biggest compliment I think I could ever receive - I'm not so great at just sitting in a compliment and accepting it, but it made me feel warm and fuzzy and thankful. πŸ’™ So I will sit in this warm fuzzy feeling tonight. πŸ’™
Thank you to everyone that likes, comments, hearts, shares and supports me and my hobby/therapy/passion.

Sundays are for getting messy.πŸ’™
Just finished this little baby for Kayla. It is waiting to dry...

First picture is AFTER I peeled a lot of paint off. I sat my arm in my palette, aka, a paper plate.

I haven't painted in about 3 months or more, so I made myself sit down the last 2 nights to paint doodles on a small canvas to get used to painting in a new room. It was really nice to get paint on my hands again. Hopefully there will be more serious pieces to comeπŸ–€β€πŸ’œπŸ’—

I have been unpacking and getting settled into our new home lately and hopefully I will be back to painting in the next few weeks/month-ish - (once I get my new Painting Room completed!) I miss doing what makes me feel happiest πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨

This painting is kinda hard to photograph, because the gold can come off as mustard & the caramel almost looks more brown than it is. But this lighting is as good as it's going to get.
