Truth!!

”Last night, while waiting to board our plane, Carter Jean was being her usual inquisitive self wanting to meet and say “hi” to everyone she could, until she walked up on this man.

He reached out and asked if she wanted to sit with him.
He pulled out his tablet and showed her how to draw with it, they watched cartoons together, and she offered him snacks.

This wasn’t a short little exchange, this was 45 minutes.
Watching them in that moment, I couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations, and the best of friends.

This is the world I want for her.
In a country that is so deeply divided by beliefs, I want her life to be filled with moments like this... not liberal or conservative republican or democrat, socialist or capitalist, just HUMAN.

God’s still got this!

Cool event.

Good morning. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who believed in me, supported me, and had faith in our goal. They may have won the election but the battle is far from over. We must join together to hold them accountable as many have said they would be in their campaigns. We must pray for them as instructed in our Bible…
1 Timothy 2:1-2 ESV
(First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way)

God gave me the strength to do this when I doubted myself several times.
I stepped out on faith. Do I plan to run again in 4 years, if that’s where God leads me I will follow.

As we are 4 days away from voting, I’m honest in saying today I wasn’t feeling that I’d done enough to be out there. Canvassing ✔️, phone calling ✔️, flyers sent, ✔️, signs ✔️, Lots of prayers ✔️, but your thoughts still wonder, was it enough…
Today as I asked myself this question, I felt a peace from God, and with smart words from our daughter, that it’s definitely in Gods hands. Its definitely all in His will now.
Now fast forward to tonight scrolling thru FB and a post showed up that I needed to read, it was such a reassurance. The post was from Steven Furtick, on obedience…
Thank you Lord for your guidance.

I truly love these verses. Verse 4!!!
With Election Day getting closer and closer we need to ask God for guidance in our decisions.

Pleasing Others, Not Ourselves
1 Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.
2 Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, in order to build him up.
3 For even the Messiah did not please Himself. On the contrary, as it is written, The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.
4 For whatever was written before was written for our instruction, so that through our endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we may have hope.
5 Now may the God of endurance and encouragement grant you agreement with one another, according to Christ Jesus,
6 so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice.

7 Therefore accept one another, just as the Messiah also accepted you, to the glory of God.
8 Now I say that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises to the fathers,

12 And again, Isaiah says: The root of Jesse will appear, the One who rises to rule the Gentiles; in Him the Gentiles will hope.
13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
