Major causes of wrinkles you didn't know?
1. Sleeping habits - pressing your face against your pillow in the same way every night causes wrinkles. It is advisable to sleep on your back. Sleeping on your back will prevent wrinkles.
2. Sun exposure - sun exposure can cause premature ageing. UV light breaks down the skin collagen and elastin fibres and causes the skin to sag and wrinkle prematurely.
3. Facial habits - As we we age our skin loses it's ability to spring back to it's line free state ( looses it's elasticity) repeated facial movements like squinting, frowning or pursing of the lips can speed up the formation of wrinkles.
4. Smoking - repeated pursing of the lips to inhale leads to premature wrinkling around the mouth.
