Update! In the past few weeks great strides have taken place. With the help of my physical therapist, parallel bars, Mac Seibert, and mostly prayer I have been able to take some really small steps. Long way to go but have come a long way.

Thank you for the continued prayers! I covet those as I progress to be able to walk again. If you see fit I have some specific additional prayer request.

1. Spasms are a part of spinal cord injuries. These spasms are in my abdomen and legs. They are at times really severe. They don’t last long but some are intense. Please pray that God will allow them to subside.

2. I have battled anxiety through this ordeal. Long story short but I have not slept in my bed because of an anxious moment during a night. I have slept in a power chair since then. This anxiety is holding me back some. Please pray that God will release this anxiety.

3. My abdomen is tight all the time. It feels like I have a tight strap around my gut all the time. Please pray that sensation goes away or God helps me to deal with it.

4. Also pray for Janine! She has been a rock through this. She has had to take on so much responsibility for taking care of me along with her full time job and home making. She has taken really seriously the phrase in our vows “in sickness and in health.” I ask that you would pray that God would give her strength, patience and endurance to deal with me. Most of you know how difficult I am when things are good haha imagine me now! Haha

Again, thank you for your prayers! I honestly believe God has a plan for all of this and your prayers will help me through this to find that plan! God bless each of you and if there is anything I can pray with you about please let me know in messenger or even in the comments here.
