This is what out officers do to protect us! Prayers to these officers and their families. Not only do they have to heal physically, but also mentally. Thank God for watching over them during this horrible incident.

Prayers for President Trump, thank God he is safe! Also special prayers for the family of the man who was senselessly killed.
I do not wish violence on anyone, I may not like a politician, or a political parties view, but that’s no excuse for any kind of violence, especially an assassination attempt!
Thank you to all of the law enforcement on scene who jumped into action when the shots rang out and while helping to safely clear out the crowds.

I’ve been off the grid for a while. Do any of our Columbus Poliice Supporters have any stories, insights or updates to share?

This is what it’s like when politicians don’t tie the hands of law enforcement! Prayers to the injured trooper! Now let’s pray this POS doesn’t get in front of some liberal judge!

**SUSPECT CAPTURED**

On October 6 at approximately 11:05 p.m. a trooper conducted a traffic stop on a black 2016 Chevrolet Suburban with Michigan registration after a speed violation on Interstate 75 near mile post 160 in Hancock County. During the traffic stop with the driver, identified as Robert Tramaine Hathorn, a struggle ensued involving the trooper’s service weapon that resulted in the trooper sustaining a gunshot wound. Hathorn then fled the scene.

As of today at approximately 1:30 p.m. the suspect has been captured and is now in custody of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Trooper Josef M. Brobst of the Findlay Post sustained serious, yet non-life-threatening, injuries.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol would like to thank our partners for their assistance – United States Marshals Service, United States Secret Service, Findlay Police Department, Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Toledo Police Department, Fostoria Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Office, United States Border Patrol, and the Bureau of Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms and Explosives.

The Patrol would also like to thank the members of the public for their tips and information that assisted in the capture of Hathorn.

This incident remains under investigation.

Shame on Mayor Dumbsh*t! Shame on the FBI investigator who was PAID to find anything that could possibly be used to look as if the police reacted in an illegal way and shame on the person who would prosecute such a blatant false attack on our wonderful police officers who risked injuries and possibly death from extremists to protect us during the extremely destructive and violent riots!

'Defund Police' NYC Mayoral Candidate Seen Leaving $2.75 Million Home Protected by Private Security 09/06/2021

Hypocrisy at its finest. Mayor Ginther may be next now that the city planning to prosecute 3 police officers for “illegal” actions against the violent rioters last summer!

'Defund Police' NYC Mayoral Candidate Seen Leaving $2.75 Million Home Protected by Private Security AOC-endorsed mayoral candidate Maya Wiley has proposed drastic cuts to the NYPD budget while she enjoys the protection of private security.

Similar events are happening in Columbus. Just look at the incident downtown where 16 and 15 year olds had a shootout. Why didn’t their parents know where they were at one in the morning? Look at the Brianna Taylor case. People are asking why he didn’t tase her or shoot her in the leg? Such ignorance from untrained citizens is inexcusable. That our mayor doesn’t support our police is going to put us in a situation just like this. Hopefully they will be a lucky and all come home. When cops are afraid to do their job because woke politicians and members of the public want to prosecute them before they even have an investigation innocent people are going to die!

12/05/2021

I’d like to see our Governor do this. I don’t understand why he doesn’t. Is to appease the liberal mayors? Has he decided that nothing else matters in our state beyond COVID-19? The crime rate in Columbus alone tells us we have much bigger problems going on.
I want to salute all law enforcement officers and especially Columbus, Ohio police officers! You are appreciated, despite what you hear from our elected p***c officials. (Still puzzled how they keep getting re-elected.) Thank you for your service!

"The Final Inspection"

The policeman stood and faced his God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, policeman.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My church have you been true?"

The policeman squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't,
Because those of us who carry badges
can't always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sunday's,
and at times my talk was rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
Because the streets are awfully tough.

But I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills just got too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fear.

If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't ....I'll understand.

There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod.
As the policeman waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.

"Step forward now, policeman,
You've borne you're burdens well.
Come walk a beat in Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in hell."

Activist has a car accident and the officer's reaction might surprise you. 20/12/2020

He’s one of our vicious, racist officers taking a report for a man that has “WE CAN’T BREATH” on the side of his car. Why is it when people who hate the police all of a sudden become so polite when they need them. P. S. If you don’t listen to the entire exchange, the suspect was black, not a white racist trying to scrape the words off of the side of this guys car by sideswiping him.

Columbus Police search for suspects who targeted man's car during protests 30/11/2020

Columbus Police Officers were not nearby to help this man, who has cerebral palsy, from rioters because Mayor Ginther had ordered police to STAND DOWN! This is what our illustrious mayor was letting happen in our streets. Not to mention the millions in damages to businesses and public property. Thank God for the good samaritans who came to this mans rescue!

Ginther and City Council members are slowly rolling out their very dangerous anti-police / anti-citizen agenda. Now that they have received voter approval on a citizens review board, they want to see how far a misinformed public will let them go. Since the media is presenting no push-back and not asking any relevant questions, Ginther and Council feel emboldened in pushing for more dangerous policies. Per usual, Ginther and council members are making their decisions based on ignorance. None of their decisions are based in fact. All of their decisions have been based on myth and a total lack of law enforcement knowledge.
Council members have said they want to hire trained social workers and specially trained crisis-intervention specialists to respond to calls involving individuals experiencing mental health crisis or struggling with addiction.
• The change puts social workers and CFD Medics at high risk of injury and death.
• Family members and friends call the police to assist with mentally disturbed individuals in crisis when they are unable to physically handle these individuals themselves.
• Council members need to explain the need for changing existing policies that are clearly working well (i.e. - sending police officers to a potentially violent situations).
• Council members should at least be required to cite specific situations where officers have acted improperly while responding to these situations.
• Council members should be asked how many times officers have been injured during these situations. Why would they promote sending unarmed civilians into these situations?
• Council members should be asked how many times officers were threatened with weapons during these situations. Why would they promote sending unarmed civilians into these situations?
• Are council members going to send unarmed Columbus Fire Medics to these situations?
• CPD Officers receive 24 hours of Critical Intervention training during the academy.
• Officers also receive training in dealing with drug-dependent individuals.
• Then, most officers are certified in an additional 40 hour Critical Interventional training course once they are out of the academy.
• Patrol officers have daily experience in dealing with mentally ill and drug dependent individuals. The number of training hours and practical experience can’t be duplicated under a City Council program for social workers. Even if it could, the plan clearly puts unarmed responders at serious risk of injury and death.
• By the time a social worker calls for police assistance, it will likely be too late.
Ginther is moving 911 dispatchers and call takers from the Division of Police to the Department of Safety. This move will give Ginther and his cohorts much more control over what personnel gets sent on certain runs.
Councilmember Mitchell Brown said the training will increase for call takers and dispatchers to make sure the proper response is being sent. That’s code for “dispatchers will be re-educated and forced to disregard prior training and experience in determining when to send a sworn police officer on a call for service”.
Ginther’s proposed budget called for a $23 million decrease for police. Supposedly, much of that is coming from moving the 911 call center to the public safety department’s budget. It’s all a con job.
Council member Remy is also proposing to spend $80,000 for an independent audit of the city’s civil service and recruitment process test police officers. That is code for “drop CPD hiring standards to achieve a higher degree of racial diversity”. Accept applicants with criminal backgrounds, lower test scores, and failing polygraph tests. Council’s attempt to water down the CPD selection process is an insult to every CPD Officer currently serving (black, white, male and female).
“Council members also said they intend to invest in violence prevention programs, such as violence interrupters, to work to reduce the level of gun violence in the city – especially among young people.”
“Other legislative proposals include actions that will improve housing equity, access to education and poverty assistance to help address underlying issues that can lead to violence. Councilmember Favor said, “We’ve seen an unprecedented rise in youth-led violence. We must take their needs seriously”.
• Actually, we need to take the needs of innocent citizens seriously and lock up anyone who is shooting those innocent citizens!
• Programs for those who have yet to commit violent crimes are great. However, “violence interrupter programs” will have no impact on those who are already cold-blooded killers.
Yes- we can “police our way out of this current wave of murder and other violent crime”! To think otherwise simply dooms Columbus to more years of violent crime and decay.
Columbus City leaders have been lying to Central Ohioans. Their demonization of Columbus Police Officers is baseless and evil in nature. They have accused Columbus Police officers of murdering countless black men and women. They have accused Columbus Police Officers of unjustified use of force and deadly force. Cleary, these are lies. I have challenged them to produce and discuss whatever number of such cases that might justify their current dismantling of the Columbus Division of Police. Obviously, they can’t act on that challenge. Unfortunately, local news outlets haven’t done their due diligence in requiring Ginther, Harden and other city leaders to produce these cases.
Columbus is a one-party (no checks and balances) city. City leaders are now free to transform Columbus into another Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, etc. Because the local news media outlets want continued access to city leaders, they fail to pursue the truth and expose the lies.
These are sad days for Columbus

Columbus Police officers say morale is bad, trust in city leadership worse amid protests 30/11/2020

Older posts that apply even more today. Our police are feeling unsupported and demonized by Mayor Ginther, who has made no effort to put himself in their shoes. No ride alongs in the dangerous neighborhoods at night, no ride in the helicopter, no standing in line with police to see how mob mentality works, therefore understanding why he shouldn't take away vital non-lethal tools to control the crowds.

VOTE NO ON ISSUE 2

This initiative is ambiguous at best. It will cost millions to pay for the board. Citizens have no say who is on the board, although Mayor Ginther's current picks are all known to dislike police. On top of that, no active Columbus law enforcement is on the board.
Keep in mind that Ginther and city council members have tried to demonize the Columbus Police despite having one of the best records in all of The United States. They're trying to create a divide between the police and citizens. He supports the racist group BLM, which is not representative of the peaceful protesters that actually live in Columbus. The most racist people in this city are the mayor and city council and they are also trying to get points for their political agenda.
If they come up with something clear and fair then we can all reconsider. Until then you hurt yourself because the police will hold back on their duties because the fear of prosecution.
