The last member of the band to introduce is Hamps.

"Piano Man Hamps", as Ian prefers to be called, has been playing keyboards for what seems like decades. (It's actually been about 2 years, but he claims that it seems like MUCH longer.)

Hamps believes that the measure of a keyboard-player is the number of keyboards that he has at his disposal. However he manages to cope with just two in 2Hard (mainly because we threatened to rename the band "2ManyKeyboards" if he insisted on adding any more).

A man of many talents, Hamps is also the sound-reinforcement designer and engineer for 2Hard.

Known for his clock-like rhythmical precision, honed over ACTUAL decades of experience as a bass player, Hamps brings a wealth of musical experience to the band. He doesn't like to brag about it though. So we just leave him at the back to ti**le the ivories (and presumably dream of having more keyboards).

This is Rose.

Known as the "Quiet One" of the group, Rose brings her unique talents to the "bottom end" of 2Hard.

If it is "the quiet ones that you've got to watch" then you need to watch our talented bassist very closely indeed.

Diminutive she may be, but Rose takes full advantage of the big bass sound that thunders from her short-scale instrument to power the driving rhythms that form the backbone of 2Hard.

Known for running a punishing rehearsal schedule, Rose's notable quote is "I don't like to crack the whip, but...". The rest of the band suspects that she is perfectly happy to "crack the whip" and so they quickly fall into line during rehearsals. They prefer to call this "respect", rather than "fear". You be the judge...

Ever insistent that the bass be brought to the front line of the group, Rose stands proudly front-of-stage alongside her 2Hard musical peers: Jess, Jo and Lloyd.
