SUMAN SA GATA is a Filipino sticky rice steamed in banana leaves is the perfect snack or dessert. It is soft, chewy, and made extra delicious with a rich and creamy caramel sauce. It's seriously addictive!

45 mins Baked @180 then 15 mins @220 degree c.
INGREDIENTS:
(Marinade)
1 kg Spare Ribs
1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Salt & Pepper
Other Ingredients;
1/4 Cup Green Peas
1/2 Bell Pepper Red
2 Medium Tomatoes (sliced)
1 Red Onion
4 Cloves Garlic
2 Tsp Tomato Ketchup
2 tsp Tomato Paste
1/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Water
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Marinade for 2-3 hours, sear the pork ribs until it turns brown..set aside and keep the sauce for later.
2. Sauté garlic, onion and tomatoes..then add the ribs, ketchup, tomato paste and the sauce from marinade. Simmer for 3-5 mins. Then add 1 cup of water..Slowly sinmer until the sauce thickened. Salt and Pepper to taste.
3. Add the red bell pepper, cheese and green peas, simmer for another 5-10 mins. Then serve immediately with hot rice or baked potatoes. ENJOY!

Braised pork neck dish with sweet-savory soy-vinegar sauce. Made more flavorful by adding black fermented beans tausi (optional) but use pineapple juice instead or Plantain Banana and blossoms.

1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds

Apple & Avocado Salad w/ Homemade dressing.
Healthy Salad perfect for Summer Lunch or dinner. So refreshing and tasty! The dressing is perfectly balanced. One of my family’s favorite salad.
INGREDIENTS:
5 pcs mini Cucumber (sliced)
1 medium red Apple (sliced & cut into pieces)
1/2 red Bellpepper
1 Avocado (sliced)
1/2 red Onion (sliced)
1 big Tomato
Dressing:
6 pcs fresh Mint leaves (chopped)
5 cloves Garlic (minced)
2 tbsp chopped Parsley
1 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Apple Vinegar
1/2 Lemon juice
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and ground black pepper
METHOD:
1. Prepare all the veggies and fruits. In a large bowl gently toss them together.
2. In a small bowl whisk together lemon juice, apple vinegar, extra virgin oil, honey, garlic, mint, parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Toss & serve. ENJOY!💯

EASY PORK BELLY KARE-KARE RECIPE
Kare-kare is a Philippine stew complemented with a thick savory peanut sauce. It is made from a variation base of stewed oxtail, pork hocks, calves feet, pig feet, beef or pork belly, and occasionally offal or tripe. Kare-kare can also be made with seafood (prawns, squid, and mussels) or vegetables.
Ingredients:
500g Pork Belly (oven baked)
1/4 cup Water (can add more if necessary)
1 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Fish Sauce
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 med red Onion (chopped)
50g young Green Beans (steamed)
1/2 small Banana Heart (optional) cut and pre-soaked
1 med Eggplant
2 tbsp Annato Seeds (soaked in 1/4 cup of water)
1/2 cup Peanut Butter (unsweetened)
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt and Pepper to taste
3 med Pechay or Bok Choy
(blanched)
1 tbsp Rice Flour (optional)
Peanuts, Chili flakes and Shrimp paste for garnish.

Creamy Shrimp Spaghetti w/ Sundried Tomatoes , Spinach & Liverspread
INGREDIENTS:
250g Spaghetti Noodle
3-4 tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium White Onion
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
300g Shrimps (peeled)
1/4 cup Sundried Tomatoes
200g Cooking Cream
1 can Spaghetti Sauce (I used Oro di Parma Classico)
1 tbsp Reno Liver Spread (optional)
125g Baby Spinach
Salt & Pepper to taste
Parmesan Cheese for garnish
METHOD:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
2. Heat a pan & olive oil, sauté garlic and onion, add the shrimps (don’t cook it too much) add the sundried tomatoes, cream and spaghetti sauce.
3. Cook for 2-3 mins then add the liver spread, season with salt and pepper, cook for a minute then add the pasta. Toss to combine, Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
4. Serve with Garlic bread, ENJOY!💯

PORK ASADO RECIPE: Asado originates from Spanish ("grilled"). However, the Filipino versions have evolved to be stewed slowly, not grilled. Simmered in fresh tomatoes.This is the home recipe that I grew up with, it's very easy and yummy.

Easy Chicken Shanghai Rolls
INGREDIENTS:
800g minced Chicken
2 1/2 tbsp fresh Coriander (chopped)
1 big White Onion (minced)
2 medium Carrots (grated & squeeze)
1 tbsp Margarine (melted)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
1/4 cup Eden Cheese (optional)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
Lumpia wrapper
Oil for cooking
METHOD:
1. Prepare all the ingredients. Squeeze the water from the grated carrots. In one big bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix it well.
2. Place about 1 tbsp of mixed ingredients on a lumpia wrapper, shape it into log, roll it tightly and fold both edges.
4. Heat the oil into the highest heat, then deep fry the lumpia..turn the heat into medium.. use a strainer to remove excess oil from the cooked lumpia.
5. Serve with Rice and Sweet and sour sauce, or pinakurat vinegar. ENJOY!💯

Easy Spaghetti Aglio e Olio with Spinach
This pasta recipe is very easy, you can slowly toasting the minced garlic to a perfect golden brown in the olive oil to get the full flavor (don’t toast it too dark to prevent the bitter taste) or just simply sauté it then add the sliced chilis to infuse the spiciness and garlic flavor.
Please tweak the amount of garlic and red Chilies to your liking!
INGREDIENTS:
100g Spinach
250g Capellini
1 head Garlic (minced)
4 Thai ared Chilies (sliced)
2 tbsp Avocado or Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
2 tbsp Sliced Black Olives (optional)
1 medium Tomato (optional)
Bacon bits (optional)
Parmesan cheese for garnish
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD;
1. Cook the Spaghetti according to package instruction. Set aside
2. Sauté Garlic and Chilies in Avocado/Olive oil, add the cooked pasta, and the spinach..tomatoes, olives if you have. Toss to combine.
3. Season with salt and pepper and garlic powder. Serve with garlic bread.

SPICY PORK BELLY CALDERETA W/ TOMATO SAUCE
This easy recipe is made of pork belly and vegetables in spicy tomato sauce. It's hearty, tasty, and perfect with steamed rice!
INGREDIENTS:
(for the marinade)
600g Pork Belly
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
4 cloves Garlic minced
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp Canola oil
1 red Onion
6 cloves Garlic
1 red or yellow Bellpepper
1/4 cup Green Olives (optional)
1 medium Carrot
3 medium Potatoes
3 tbsp Reno Or any Liver Spread
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 tbsp Peanuts (crushed)
1/4 cup Tomato Sauce
2-3 chilis (optional)
1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup grated Eden Cheese or Cheddar
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Sauté garlic & onion, add the marinated pork belly and the sauce from marinade. Simmer until the sauce thickened.
2. Pour in water, then add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, crushed peanuts & liver spread. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours until the meat is fork-tendered.
3. Add the potatoes, carrots and bellpepper, salt, pepper, cheese and chili . Bring to a boil and turn down heat to simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with hot steamed rice.ENJOY & HAPPY COOKING!
Simple Pork Picadillo Stew Recipe
It’s easy to make and budget-friendly yet so hearty and tasty. Perfect with steamed rice & spicy fish sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
400g minced Pork
1 tomato
1 medium white Onion
6 cloves Garlic
1 medium Carrot
3 medium Potatoes
1/2 Green Bellpepper
1/2 Red Bellpepper
1/4 cup green Olives (optional)
1 1/2 tbsp dried Raisins (optional)
1/4 cup Green peas (optional)
2 tbsp Corn kernel
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Lime Juice
1 tbsp Hoisin sauce (optional)
2 tbsp Soysauce
1 cup Chicken Broth
1 tbsp Canola Oil
1 tbsp Fish sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Prepare a pan with 1 tbsp Canola Oil, then fry the cube Carrot and Potatoes.Set aside.
2. Sauté onions, garlic, tomatoes and cook until limp. Add ground pork and cook, breaking to pieces with the back of a spoon, until lightly browned. Drain excess fat, if any.
3. Add fish sauce, hoisin sauce, tomato paste, soysauce, lime juice, pepper powder and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Add the olives and raisins (optional) pour the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes or until pork is cooked through.
5. Add potatoes & carrots. Cover and continue to simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes. Then add the bell pepper, corn and green peas.
6. Continue to cook until sauce is reduced and thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with hot steamed rice, and spicy fosh sauce (patis with chili). ENIOY & HAPPY COOKING!
BANANA BLOSSOM OMELETTE
(Filipino Tortang Puso ng Saging)
This recipe is very nostalgic for me, adult & children will enjoy it. It is very tasty and the main ingredient is very famous for its nutrition profile. It has antioxidants and healthy.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Banana Heart (cleaned & peeled properly, remove the purple bracts)
1/2 size Red Bell Pepper (minced)
1 red Onion (minced)
6 cloves Garlic (minced
1 tbsp Flour
1 tbsp Yondu Vegetable Umami or Soysauce
1/2 tsp Mushroom Sauce
2 Eggs
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil for frying
METHOD:
1. Tips before cutting the banana blossom: First slice a lime and rub it on into a chopping board. Then rub some oil into your palm to avoid it from getting stained.
2. Wash the Banana blossom properly, clean it well, peel off the layer, remove the purple bracts, once you see the white or pale colored heart you can start chopping the blossom. It needs to be finely chopped.
3. Put immediately the chopped banana blossom in a bowl of cold water to avoid them from getting dark.
4. Add 1 tsp of Salt, mix it and set aside for 5 mins. After 5 mins squeeze it by hand to remove the excess liquid..it should be a little soft.
5. Next, prepare a medium bowl..combine all the ingredients, mix it well .
6. Heat the oil, then scoop the banana mixture and pan fry for 3-5 mins until it turns brown.
Can serve with Banana Ketchup or Vinegar with garlic & chili.

Easy Chili Oil Vegan Dumplings
This recipe is very easy & delicious! Perfect for snacks or dinner.
INGREDIENTS:
100g Mushrooms (sliced)
1 Carrot (sliced)
1 small Jicama (optional)
1 thumb sized Ginger (peeled & sliced)
6-7 cloves Garlic (sliced)
2 stalks Green Onions (sliced)
2 tbsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp Low Sodium Soysauce
1/2 tsp Mushroom powder (optional)
Dumpling Wrapper
For the Chili Sauce:
2 tbsp fresh Coriander leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp Gochugaru powder
1 tsp Chili Flakes
1 tsp Sesame Seeds (roasted)
3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
1/2 tsp Natural sweetener or 1 tsp Organic Brown Sugar
1 stalk Green Onion or 1 tsp Garlic chives (chopped)
1 tbsp Apple Vinegar or Rice Vinegar
2 tbsp Low Sodium Soysauce
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil (boiled)
METHOD:
1. Prepare a food processor & Blend all the ingredients.
2. Heat a pan & Cook the mix ingredients for few minutes season with pepper or mushroom powder but optional.
3. Heap 1 tbsp of mixed ingredients into dumpling wrapper. Sealed & set aside.
4. In a large pan, heat 1 tsp vegetable oil slide each bottom of dumplings into oil to avoid sticking. Then arrange it. (NOTE: if you have steamer u can use steamer).
5. Add enough water for steaming. Steam until the wrapper softened.
6. Transfer into a serving plate and pour the chili sauce on top.

Simple & Yummy Rice Bowl Honey Garlic Shrimp with steamed Veggies
Healthy & Easy recipe that you can make for 15 minutes. Satisfying dish for lunch or dinner.
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Shrimp peeled
2 tbsp minced fresh Garlic
1 medium white Onion (minced)
2 tbsp Olive Oil
4 tbsp Light Soy Sauce (I used Kikkoman less sodium)
2 tbsp Honey (I used my fav Akazien Honey) add more tbsp for the preferred sweetness
Garlic Chives for garnish
Salt & Pepper to taste
Vegetables to steam:
Broccoli, spinach and other leafy greens; cauliflower, asparagus, carrots, green beans, small potatoes and artichokes. (Your Choice)
METHOD:
1. Prepare all the ingredients, sauté the garlic and onion..add the shrimps and the soysauce. Add Honey and adjust to your preferred sweetness.
2. Salt & Pepper to taste. Serve with Steamed Veggies.

Egg Drop Soup with Tofu
Delicious, healthy & warm soup. Easy and satisfying low calorie, packed with proteins.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 Big fresh Tomato
100g Tofu
100g Pakchoi (Bok Choy)
2 stalks Spring Onions (green onions)
1 tbsp Vegetable Umami (Yondu) or Soysauce
1/2 tsp fresh Ginger (minced)
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
3 cups Chicken Broth
1 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch (dissolved in 2 tbsp of water)
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Beat the Egg then set aside. Sauté the tomatoes until softened then add the green onions & ginger..add the tofu season with garlic powder, vegetable umami and pepper.
2. Pour the chicken broth, cornstarch mixture. Cook for 5 mins then add the bok choy. Reduce heat to a simmer. Slowly drizzle the beaten eggs in a thin stream into the soup while gently stirring in a circular motion. Simmer until the sauce thickened.
Serve with Garlic bread. ENJOY & HAPPY COOKING!
Easy Oil Based Pasta Sardines Recipe
Healthy & Simple recipe that could become a firm family favorite, light to eat and bursting with nutritional goodness!
INGREDIENTS:
250g Capellini (Italian Pasta)
100g Dried Tomatoes in Herb Oil
1 can Sardines (Flakes in Oil)
3 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Head Garlic (minced)
Fresh Tomato (optional)
Black Olives (optional)
1/4 tsp Italian Herbs
1/4 cup Chicken Broth or 1/2 tsp Mushroom powder
Chili Oil, Lime & Parsley for garnish
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.Drain & Set aside.
2. Sauté the garlic and dried tomatoes. Add the sardines and the sauce. Pour in the broth and season with salt & pepper.
3. Add some fresh parsley and the rest of the ingredients.
Serve with garlic bread, ENJOY & HAPPY COOKING!

1 Banana
1/4 Cup Blueberries
1/2 cup Almond Milk
1/2 cup Oatmilk
1 tsp Honey
EASY PORK MECHADO RECIPE
Filipino Pork Stew recipe that may serve for lunch and dinner. So delicious, satisfying meaty recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
1kg Pork Neck
3 medium red Potatoes
3 tbsp Tomato paste
1 medium white Onion
6 cloves Garlic
1 tbsp Lime or Calamansi Juice
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Liver Spread Reno (optional)
3 tbsp low sodium Soysauce
1 red Bell Pepper
1 1/2 cup Water (I used rice water)
1/2 tsp Mushroom Powder (optional) or you can use chicken broth
Salt & Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Marinate the pork with Soysauce, lime or calamansi juice and Worcestershire sauce.
2. Prepare a pan, fry the sliced potatoes then set aside.
3. In the same pan, sauté the garlic & onion then add the marinated pork with the sauce mixture.
4. Add the tomato paste, liver spread, season with salt and pepper and mushroom powder. Cook for 5 minutes then add water and cook for another 15 minutes until the meat is fork- tender and the sauce thickened.
5. Add the fried potatoes and bell pepper, cook for another 5 minutes.
Transfer to a plate. Serve with white rice!
