One of my goals this year is to make a line of unique planters. This is the first one. I am liking the carved detail and roll top. Of course, it has drainage. What do you think?

The Spirit Sippers were born out of a commission I did last year. The angled sides and thin tapered rims make them great for enjoying your favorite spirit or tea.

I took these to a market and got lots of questions about what they were for. My go to answer was butter, cheese ball, or anything you donā€™t want your cat or kids to get into. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø what would you use this for?

Soap dispensers were probably my favorite new project of the year. They are a great way to reduce your plastic use and refill with your favorite liquid soap. You could even use one of our local no waste companies like .wasteless or .

I only have these pictured and the last one is taken. If they go over well I might do some hatching soap dispenser and soap dish sets for the new year!

Check my website to grab yours on Nov 27 at 1pm!

Artist statements are hard, but I finally have one I am proud of. After listening to interviews with and and taking a free artist statement workshop from , I took their advice and edited and edited and got feedback from friends and wrote it for me in my voice.

Got some beautiful autumn hues in this series of bud vases using Sio2 Toffee clay. In oxidation it is a beautiful sandy color and in reduction it is a deep brown. Each pair has the same glaze combination and clay. The only difference is the vases on the right were fired in cone 5 oxidation and the ones on the left in the recent gas firing (cone 7 reduction). All the glazes are formulated and mixed at Core Clay so I donā€™t have details on the recipes.

1. Monarch Satin
2. Crimson over Monarch Satin
3. June Perry Pink over Monarch Satin
4. Floating Blue over Crimson
5. Mortyā€™s Green over Crimson
6. June Perry Pink
7. Clear
8. Butter over Bone
9. Rutile Green
10. June Perry Pink over Clear (this is my best guess based on my notes but that one on the left turned out pretty crazy).
