A few new additions to the band at our first mini rehearsal last night 👀 It’s been our intention for a while to put together a full band and now we have. We will still be performing as the acoustic trio that you will be familiar with, but keep an eye out for the full line up bringing you some thigh-slapping, toe-tapping, h***y tonk country music 🤠🎸🎤🥁🎹 please welcome Vic Edwards on drums, Matt Price on Keys, and Dan Woods on bass guitar 😎 all extremely talented musicians and great additions to the band 👌🏻

Hi and welcome to the page of the vocal harmony trio, Three Chord Truth, the band are currently a three piece but will be a full band by the end of spring. Featuring members of the Ska band The Reggie Mental Band, the three friends discovered a mutual love of US and Irish Country music, the trio began jamming in each others kitchens, experimenting with different harmony and instrumentation with enthusiasm and enjoyment and are now taking bookings around the North of England to share their sound with a wider audience, not limited to country music but some eclectic songs thrown in for good measure.
The current line up is;
Helen Maun vocals tin whistles and percussion
Tom Woods lead guitar and vocals
Andy Creevy, Rhythm guitar, mandolin and vocals
