It’s more than just fitness.
As a coach and personal trainer I am fortunate enough to work with all kinds of people each and every day and help them achieve their goals.
What you learn very quickly though is that we aren’t only here to help people with their fitness goals, a lot of the time the hour spent with us could be someone’s escape. Whether that be from work, school, home or even their own mind.
I encourage all of my clients whether that be 1to1 or online to speak to me no matter how big or small it may seem to them. Some are ready to speak and once they have the relief you see from their face is something else but unfortunately a lot of the time people aren’t quite ready but if I could help one person with this post then that’s a pretty good day to me.
As coaches we are in a very unique position where people will come to us, they trust us, they know they can lean on us for support, my goal today is to show everyone that we aren’t only here for physical support but for any aspect we are needed.
I understand that speaking up can seem like an extremely terrifying thing so if you don’t feel you aren’t quite ready to speak to a friend, parent, teacher, boss, coach or a loved one I have left a list of completely free services of some great companies that specialise in helping people to speak up and show them that it always gets better.
Remember, speaking up shows strength not weakness 💪🏼

Good week put down for 2 of my younger clients last week with Kyle winning a league and cup with 2 separate age groups and Evan captaining his side to a cup trophy as well.
Two young lads that work tirelessly week in week out for me.
Which raises the question, does gym work directly result to success on the pitch? No.
But can it help give some players an extra edge? 100% ✅
Both lads got to enjoy a season with no long term or serious injuries, they both discovered a new form of confidence in themselves and their own abilities and they both showed a quicker, stronger, more agile side to their games.
I am a firm believer in you’ll always get back what you put in and these two are prime examples of that 💪🏼

I’ve been working with athletes for over a year now as a strength & conditioning coach but due to the pandemic I was never able to grow or promote myself as a coach so instead I went and furthered my education and my qualifications. 😎
Excited to be able to really break down the specifics of strength & conditioning and performance training and push athletes on to that next level 🔑
