Meet the candidates: Fountain Inn City Council 17/10/2023

We have elections for our Mayor and City Council Wards 2, 4, & 6 in 3 weeks on November 7th. Please make sure that you have your voice heard in this election. You can read information about the candidates through the following link:

https://greenvillejournal.com/community/meet-the-candidates-2023-fountain-inn-sc-city-council/?fbclid=IwAR2JRwNomLIc2tnGzSxwtanBf7CCjRLD7kpma_zdz5K7iOYhYvtppKFcVoY&mibextid=Zxz2cZ

Please remember all city residents are eligible to vote for all of these candidates. I received this concern a lot when I was running for City Council two years ago. Council members have to live in their respective Ward to represent that Ward on City Council; however, the city as a whole votes for each of the candidates. Good luck to all candidates that are running for City Council and Mayor. I look forward to working with all of them, win or lose.

Meet the candidates: Fountain Inn City Council As voters head to the polls Nov. 7, Fountain Inn City Council incumbent Mack Blackstone (Ward 6) faces opposition, while Mayor GP McLeer and councilmembers Jay Thomason (Ward 2) and Phil Clemmer (Ward 4) run unopposed.
