Overlooking various obstacles in fulfilling of the Sustainable Development, we a group of social and environmental enthusiasts came together and formed an NGO to catalyze the process of development and conservation.
Witnessing young minds nurturing the earth, tiny hands planting trees, and innocent hearts sensing the true beauty of nature - it’s a moment that fills our souls with pride and hope for a greener tomorrow.
Today was a heartwarming and inspiring day at our Miyawaki plantation site in Dondaicha. The young hearts and minds of 1st and 2nd standard students from Hasti Public School joined us, the Pruthvi Molachi Foundation, in planting 300 trees.
We began by sharing the magic and importance of the Miyawaki forest with the children, explaining how these tiny saplings will grow into a lush forest that nurtures life and preserves our planet. Their eager eyes and attentive ears absorbed every word, understanding how even their small hands could make a big difference.
With pure joy and determination, these young environmentalists collected cow dung manure in their tiny hands and carefully placed it into the holes dug for the trees. Their laughter and enthusiasm filled the air as they lovingly planted each tree, knowing they were giving back to Mother Earth.
Their happiness was palpable as they finished the plantation, their faces glowing with pride and accomplishment. These wonderful children made a heartfelt promise to protect and nurture the trees, ensuring they thrive for generations to come.
Today’s experience was a beautiful reminder of the power of young minds and the boundless potential of our future caretakers of the Earth. We at the Pruthvi Molachi Foundation are deeply moved and inspired by their commitment to creating a greener, healthier planet.

The Miyawaki method of plantation was pioneered in the 70s by Japanese botanist and expert in plant ecology Mr. Akira Miyawaki.
This technique of plantation involves planting native trees, shrubs and groundcover plants within every square metre.
Our Miyawaki forest continues to surprise us!

Dudhsagar Waterfalls Expedition
15-17 July 2022
With its beautiful cascade of white water pouring down from a height of 1017 feet, the waterfall is both breathtaking and uplifting, serving as a reminder that nature has numerous powers that much outweigh the human mind and body.
Its name, "Dudhsagar," literally translates to "sea of milk," which many feel is a reference to the white spray and foam that the big waterfall produces as it rushes into the lake's water. A popular tourist destination year-round, these falls reach their peak during monsoon season. Karnataka's Deccan plateau is the source of Goa's Mandavi River, the state's lifeblood. The Dudhsagar falls are formed as this river, which travels through the Western Ghats, plunges over the highest hills on the boundary between Goa and Karnataka. At the foot of the falls, the water collects in a large green pool before flowing westward into the Arabian Sea. With a height of 310m (1017ft), the Dudhsagar waterfall is one of the largest in India. The near-vertical rock wall creates a stunningly beautiful scene when the cascade separates into three streams.
Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary borders the falls' wooded surroundings. This location is home to a variety of animals and birds, and the keen watcher may be in luck to glimpse some.
