Here’s my grandmother.
I acquired this beautiful passport photo and tried to colorize it based on colors used in past portraits.
I was disappointed in that I feel it ”missed the mark” but I loved the act of trying and thinking about her from my adult perspective, wondering what she was like.
I wish I could sit down and talk to her now.
After the fact, I colorized the photo online.
It was interesting to see. I still feel like neither of us truly captured her.
Maybe I’ll have to try again……
