Directorate of Secondary Education of Lasithi updated their business hours.

👉During the hot summer, all partners are working hard to shape the Learning Outcomes of each Unit. In Greece, either by the beach or by the office, we ( and ) collaborate in this direction!!!
We wish you a nice summer ⛱ too and we are looking forward to meeting each other to our beloved Austria next month!!!

The 3rd online meeting of the partners participating in the project has ended. We are all happy 😊 to see each other again!!!
In this meeting, issues related to the Theoretical Framework were discussed. After each partner briefly described the professional profiles, education or training programmes, training needs, relevant initiatives, competence framework etc of its country the whole team tried to define the Units of Learning Outcomes.
We are all looking forward for the first live meeting in Austria on September!!!

Why ...

👉The Flipped Classroom pedagogical model transfers the work of certain learning processes outside the classroom and uses class time to facilitate and enhance other processes of acquisition and practice of knowledge.

👉Parent involvement in children’s learning strongly influence student achievement, engagement and motivation. However, parent involvement decreases in the case of migrant families, as they may face multiple obstacles to become involved in their child´s schooling: language barriers, insufficient understanding of the functioning of schools in the host country, and lack of time or money to invest in their child´s education.

👉An insufficiently explored approach to overcome the difficulties to involve migrant parents in the education of their children is , namely any learning that includes more than one generation of a family.

Project kick off meeting FLIPPMI, Supporting the participation of migrant families in Flipped Learning, an Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training project, was held on 22 February 2022. FLIPPMI project aims to strengthen the participation of migrant families in Flipped Learning through Family Learning methods by equipping Intercultural Mediators with the necessary skills and resources to support the process.

We are happy to be part of the FLIPPMI project with all these experienced partners: Le Monde des Possibles (Belgium), Instituto para el fomento del desarrollo y la formación(Spain), La Bien Pagá Espacio Escénico (Spain), Innoquality Systems (Ireland), Iasis Amke Athens (Greece), Directorate of Secondary Education of Lasithi (Greece) and AB Proje (Türkiye).

Yesterday (16.05.2022) we successfully held our online 1st Transnational Meeting (TNM) of our FLIPPMI project (Erasmus+). We are looking forward to strengthening the participation of migrant families in through methods by equipping with the necessary skills and resources to support the process with our partners from: Le Monde des Possibles 🇧🇪, Instituto para el fomento del desarrollo y la formación 🇪🇸, La Bien Pagá Espacio Escénico 🇪🇸, Innoquality Systems 🇮🇪, Iasis Amke Athens 🇬🇷, Directorate of Secondary Education of Lasithi 🇬🇷 and AB Proje 🇹🇷.
