So, progress on the HR31, I’ve found some old for sale photos of it from 2016, safe to assume it’s been sitting since then. The rust is bad, pretty much each corner of the plenum from the inside out is gone, I’m going to endeavour to fix it with some ausdel cuts I’ve saved over the years. Would any of you be interested in following along closely with the part restoration of this car? After rust is repaired it will be getting a 25det at this stage. Lots of work to do but I feel like this car is worth it. Let me know if you think a youtube series showing how the repairs are done would be something you’d watch!

While up north working i happened to stumble across a HR31 passage “barn find” (more like field) whilst the motor was harvested years ago it’s still got the manual transmission and big diff with disk brakes, being a factory 20det is a big bonus. After seeing it had a split personality I couldn’t help but fall inlove with it (story of my life) what should I do with it? Main rust is under windscreen, the car is otherwise very solid. What would you do with it?

This skyline has been with us for a while, but no longer (see previous post) one of dardhaus’s good friend and member Sam Marshall now owns it, and has been playing around in the mud.
