Forward United Holston is to invite and encourage each other to go forward united in the UMC.
We are disciples of Jesus Christ working for the transformation of the world and seeking to do so as the United Methodist Church.
Going Forward United as the UMC believes that we are better in mission and ministry when we cooperate together. In this video, Natalie Justice shares some of the wonderful work happening through Cooperative Parishes in the Holston Conference.

Holston Affirmation of Unity Our faith is in God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; creator, redeemer, and sustainer—that blessed trinity of God in three persons—each unique, all united.
The Wesley Foundations and college ministries of the Holston Conference are vital to our mission of making disciples. Caleb Frazier at the ETSU Wesley Foundation shares how our connectionalism makes this possible.
Our mission as a connectional church is extra important in the Holston Conference of the UMC. Rev. Chris Brown shared about his recent trip to the Czech Republic with other Holstonians to support ministry work with Ukrainian refugees.

The organizers of Forward United are clergy in the Holston Conference of the UMC. We have a deep love for Christ’s church and a desire to be in ministry and ministry together. We do not agree on everything but believe the UMC is at her best when she can be a big tent church. As the next chapter of the UMC is being written, we desire to be a witness to the world of grace amid division.
