It's with a peaceful heart I inform you all that as of today the online store is permanently closed.

After a year of prayer and months of not ready. I finally clicked deactivate today.

I'll still be here sharing with you from time to time.

I'll still maybe have flash sales through social media and email.

But this decision comes with so much peace.

I started a job with my Parish in November and it's been the biggest blessing for my family. I loved having this shop, but my heart is definitely where it feels at home serving my community in the most intentional way I know how.

Thank you for all the support you have given me over the last 4 years. It's been a fun journey and I look forward to what the Lord has in store for me.

He is always in the details

Never stop thinking for a moment that He isn't fighting your battles for you.

You are never alone even when you are lonely.

This one goes out to the unlikely friends. 

The friends you met once at a conference and ate dinner at a restaurant with a huge group together once. And became Internet friends until you see each other again. 

The friends you root for all their happy moments they share on the web. 

The friends you send a condolences message to when they are in desolation. 

The friends you see around church and know each other but don't KNOW each other and say hi how's xyz going. 

But then one day those unlikely friends meet you in your desolation and it's in that moment you realize how precious these unlikely friends are. 

Then they are no are unlikely friends. They are just friends. They come to your Bible studies

They come to your birthday dinner.

They root for you when it seems like no one else is. 

They check in on you when you're quiet because you're never quiet and that's odd that you are. 

They send a text “hi I'm praying for you today so smile”

Friends these friends are gems. Don't discount them. Think about it the next time you see one of these unlikely friends know that maybe the next time you see them they will just be your best friends 

So smile a bit more at them. Ask them “hey how can I pray for you” you never know they may be in their desolation and God is choosing you to be their unlikely friend too. 

In all that I do, let it be done for You.

This Thanksgiving as I spend some time reflecting this year more than most I am so Thankful God chose me for this life.

It's been a year.

So many trials.

So many heartaches.

So much hurt. Both physically, mentally and emotionally.

But with out the love of God I wouldn't be able to stand here smiling loving the life he has blessed me with.

Even with a foot that isn't completely healed.

Even with a heart that is bruised.

I am not broken.

I am loved and with that love I will love.

Thank you and may each of you feel the love of Christ tomorrow as well as every day.

I guess it’s time for an update

It’s been a while since I have posted in these squares. I have shared some information in stories over the last few months but thought I would make it more concrete on the social media realm for a permanent spot on my page. 

I’ll be having surgery tomorrow Tuesday 9/19 to repair the ligaments on my left foot. Basically re-attaching my pinky toe… I honestly wish I had an exciting story to tell on how this happened but the best story I can say is… age + not good shoes + dancing = toe repair surgery  😅😅😅👵

What does this mean for the shop? 

NOTHING! 🥳 I have for the time being put anything that I was fulfilling in house on hold and will keep limited items through our fulfillment center. 

🙌Great news right?!🙌

Lastly,  I have had 5 months of doctor appointments, scans, pokes, etc…  all the things to figure out what was causing so much pain in my left foot. Thankfully it's nothing serious and a minor surgery was the worst case scenario to my healing. 

Due to all this time of “suffering” and learning how to suffer more silently I have been praying the surrender novena often. Each time I felt pain I would offer up my suffering for someone. It made this minor pain feel more “not for nothing” 

Though, I was devastated to learn a surgery was necessary placing my trust in Him and His process for my life has helped me find great peace in this process. 

Since, I prayed the surrender novena often I decided to make a shirt for my surgery and any one else who may be going through some trying times and wants a reminder to let him take care of everything.

Today's Gospel is a reminder to us not to give in to the worldly temptations, a reminder that for something to become, true, good and beautiful it must BE true, good, and beautiful.

Also, it's ok to let go of things that are not bearing fruit in our lives.

Sometimes that can be a hard decision to understand especially major things like our jobs, our community, our schools etc.

Just because something is the way it has been doesn't mean it has to always be that way forever for us.

Plant the seed of faith in your life and take the next step towards what is true, good, and beautiful.

"The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but then worldly anxiety and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. But the seed sown on rich soil is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold."

OK God I hear you!

Last night at Adoration I spent my time with the imagery of my hands out to our Lord and each worry, stress, problem I had became a rose and I just kept handing them to Him.

Each time I handed a rose to Him I would say "I give you this (fill in blank) take care of everything"

I'm leaning in on trusting Him, His process is not mine. If I remain in Him, I trust Him, I love Him he will reward me with joy and peace.

Like maybe just going through the motions and not fully paying attention to the beauty and sacred goodness that is there for us?

I'm guilty of this from time to time, but today it was like my soul was awaken and I just wanted to share that goodness with you!

I have had a very hard, stressful, depressing week. I have probably spent more time in prayer than I have in months.

Today at daily mass when we prayed the Agnus Dei it was like God was speaking to me in this moment.

I pray the Agnus Dei every mass (duh) but this time it was different it was like when I said Lamb of God you take away the sins of the world Grant us peace

He was fully giving me the detachment I needed from the sins of this week. It was beautiful and I just love God so much for giving me and all my unworthy qualities the ability to still be loved by Him.

In my brokenness He spoke to me and said you won't be lonely I am with you.

Saturday Thoughts:

When you run into your priest and have a casual conversation but have trouble coming up with the right words you want to say so you just smile and stay silent... then come home and open your daily devotional and it has the words you were looking for. That is the work of God.

"Walk with me in holy trust, responding to My initiatives rather than trying to make things fit your plans. I died to set you free, and that includes freedom from compulsive planning."

This ALL OF IT! Is what I need to remember and remain in His presence His Will for my life.

This foot injury has truly helped me to see God in my ordinary life. How I can live simply, slowly for him in the little tasks. The minimal tasks I am able to do lately teaches me the freedom from compulsive planning.

I made this shirt for my daughter! She is getting confirmed in June and has chosen Mary Magdalene as her confirmation saint.

This is so happy for me bc Mary Magdalene is also my confirmation saint. Though our reasons are different on why we chose her it think it's beautiful how we were both drawn to her.

Grow in Holiness

This shirt design was inspired by the middle school youth at my parish.

I volunteer my Sunday nights to be with them and in recent months this saying has came up a few times.

To grow in Holiness we must grow in Virtue.

It's an honor to watch these 7th and 8th graders grow in holiness in the little time I get to spend with them.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

I have such a strong connection to the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I clung to it so much when my dad was dying.

It's only fitting to release 2 shirts this week as we approach 3 years since his passing.

I miss my daddy much.
