Now that fall has officially arrived it's time to take part in some autumn activities. There are a number of great activities right here on the lower cape that help us welcome the fall season. Which one is your favorite to take part in?

This is a tough one! Three season room or a balcony with a view? Which would you choose?

In preparation for the change of seasons, inspect your home’s foundation for cracks and check around window and door frames as well as areas where wires or pipes enter the house. Apply caulk as needed to prevent heat loss and stop water from getting in.

Which would you prefer? Being closer to downtown or the beach? I would definitely have to say the beach!

With so many great options on Cape Cod that extend even into the off-season, what is your favorite Cape Cod water activity?

Make sure your flooring is looking its best. Steam clean carpets and area rugs. Polish and buff hardwood floors. Have tile flooring with grout professionally cleaned. Sparkling clean floors make a big impression!

Which would you pick if you had to choose? The tile or the hardwood? I love the warmth of the hardwood if I was the one choosing!

Boost your home’s curb appeal with some easy landscaping projects. Trim overgrown shrubs, consider adding window boxes or potted flowers by the front door, and be sure to remove lawn ornaments, toys, and tools or construction materials.

Freshen up paint. A fresh coat of paint in key areas can make a big difference in selling your home. Focus on the main areas of the home such as the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. Stick with neutral colors and keep wall decor simple.

On Cape Cod, we know a thing or 2 about dampness! The last thing you want is for a potential buyer to get cold feet if they smell a musty and damp cellar. If the basement is more humid than the rest of the house install a dehumidifier that drains into your basement’s sump pump.
