Weather was not on my side during spring break, but it finally let up on Saturday for me to be able to take Brayden Payne’s senior photos at the beautiful Fishhawk Falls - Lee Wooden County Park
Brayden Payne Chase Swearingen,Brayden Payne,
I'd wanted to get this out sooner, but college can be a full-time job in itself! For those who did not know, I had the privilege over President's Day Weekend to travel to Spokane with Resonate Monmouth and join about 970 other followers of Christ at Resonate's annual conference. I definitely will be going back next year! Here's a collaborative gallery of our trip
ResCon 2024 Chase Swearingen,ResCon 2024,
We are excited to announce that not only will we have a great headliner, Sweet Emotion gracing our Saturday stage at this year's Summer's End Music Festival but we also have Jacquie Roar returning for a night of fun and great music! You will be excited to find Back Into Black headlining the stage on Sunday night!
Jacquie was unable to come to last year's festival because she was filming her competitive run on NBC's 'The Voice' where she made it all the way to the finale!!
Who's excited for a chance to meet and greet with one or all of these three talented preformers?
Introducing our "Stay Tuned Signature Artist" The Teccas
From the heart of Montana's Big Sky Country, based in the Capital city, Helena, comes The Teccas, a high-energy country group that can play any venue and appeal to any audience. The band was originally formed in 2015 and has toured over the past 8 years to include multiple engagements in Nashville. In 2018 the band decided to hit the road full time to appease their fan base of over 125k they created all across the United States and abroad, as well as fueling their passion to create outstanding live music! 2022 was a record year on the road, racking up just over 41k miles, 234 shows across 22 states.
From honkytonks to county fairs, if you can catch The Teccas performance, you won’t want to miss the opportunity! Lead singer, guitarist, and Songwriter, Scott Tecca has a passion for his craft that is like nothing you’ve ever seen on stage. He can captivate any audience with his original songs in addition to being able to cover just about any song request from the country genre and he is surrounded with outstanding musicians who simply love to play! His Duo partner and daughter, Kayla, has a powerful yet mesmerizing tone that will captivate you. When the two of them sing together, the harmonies are of such perfection that only family can create. This award winning Duo, whether with their full band or just the two of them alone, will take you on a musical journey and leave you filled with a desire for more.
Scott grew up in a very musical family with his grandfather, who was blind from age nine, was a local musician in Livingston Montana, playing the piano, drums, and singing in the Rhythm Ramblers His father, the man who taught him to play the guitar at the age of 5, also was a guitar player and singer. Growing up in small towns in Montana has its challenges, but it has also given Scott the life needed to reach for his dreams of being a singer/ songwriter. Having two musically talented daughters, it has sparked the idea of performing together as a family, but as fate would have it, only one daughter, Kayla, has shown the desire to chase his crazy dream of being a full time musician.
Kayla started her musical interest in 6th grade, where she took up the violin. Although her desire for music was rich, she moved on from the violin and onto the guitar. In her high school years, she was heavily involved in the school choir. When she was 16, Kayla entered a talent show at her high school. As she was just getting started with playing guitar, she didn't feel ready to accompany herself, so of course, Dad was quick to jump in.
Kayla, upon graduating from high school, went on to culinary school, before jumping in with both feet and traveling all over Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon playing music in local bars, Brewery's and private functions. Their unique blend of family harmonies draws their followers into a musical journey. From their renditions of Journey's Don't stop believing to their original Whiskey in Heaven, the listener is taken through the facets of time and touched by memories of the familiar songs they cover. Their original songs are written from personal memories and life experiences that touch you in so many different ways.
Over the past 8 years, The Teccas have been busy writing and recording their original songs, and in February of 2022, they released their first full-length studio album, These Days. Telling the stories of his childhood growing up in small towns across Montana, Scott has captured the small-town feel in the songs.
The Teccas are currently in the writing stages of their next album and plan on releasing it in early 2024. Over the last year, they have grown in popularity across Montana and have shared the stages of several music festivals in Montana and Nashville, including Montana's Premier festival, Red Ants Pants Music Festival. In October of 2022, they traveled to Nashville for the 8th Annual Josie Music Awards held at none other then the Grand Ole Opry House and also were blessed to be asked to play the main stage at the 1st Annual Josie Music Fest as the opening act!
Good job Jacquie!!
Although this journey has come to an end for us, Season 24 was the most incredible experience. The three amigos hold strong. Bias and I will be releasing music and I can guarantee you’ll be getting that duet from Huntley and I later on down the road. I cannnnnnot put enough emphasis on how proud I am of US! deserved this win. His voice is literally insane! He is an absolute legend of a human being. Most of all, he is a good friend. Watch out for the Three Amigos reunion. Congratulations to you Huntley. Don’t feel guilty. There had to be a winner and I’m glad it was you because I invested a lot of time braiding that hair 😂
Go Jacquie!
