A mix of metal and hard rock, formed at the back end of 2021 Severance combine many differing musical influences to create a sound that is varied from song to song, whilst maintaining a unique sound. Severance are:-

Tom Nolan - Guitar
Greig Cardwell - Bass
Lukasz Materowski - Drums
With two songs recorded by Deep Concept Studios in early 2022, Severance are currently looking

The Hag Wants You!
It comes with great regret that Lukasz has decided to step down from the drum stool for us. Lukasz was a founding member of the band, who's idea it was to bring a motley crew together and form what would become known as Severance.
We'd like to thank Lukasz for everything he has done for the band, and wish him well for his future endeavours.
As a result, we are on the lookout for a new drummer.
No major requirements, though flexibility and the ability to play double bass are key. We have 5 songs mixed and ready to send over to anyone interested in taking up the mantle.

Severance would like to wish all of our fans and followers a very happy, healthy and merry Christmas; and a great New Year.
2023 should mean more music and live shows for us; we hope to see you all at a gig somewhere.

All Quiet On The Western Front...
So we've been a little quieter than usual on social media, but plenty has been going on behind the scenes in the Severance camp.
Firstly we would like to welcome Tomek Rola to the band as our second guitarist. Tomek brings even more influences and style to the Severance sound, and has already started contributing various ideas and riffs.
Secondly, Adrian Polechonski from DC Deep Concept Studio has agreed once again to work with us, and we're currently back in the studio laying down tracks for another 3 (yes, three!!) new songs.
Finally, after somewhat of an enforced downtime somewhat due to health issues, we played a small gig at Spring Bank Tavern(massive thanks to the 4 people who turned up to that..!) Moving forward we're hoping to hit the stage more in 2023, so if anyone knows of any bands/venues around the Hull area - or indeed further afield - we'd be more than happy to play.
Thank you all for being patient with us through Summer '22, we hope to see you all somewhere on the road next year.
