✨Honeyborne Homes ✨
I loved making this brand a reality for
Using a colour palette which reflected Annie's cohesive style, a font pairing which is elegant and timeless and a hexagonal shape as a nod to the 'Honey'
I for one can't wait to see some of the amazing projects Annie's for sure going to be working on, bringing style to a home near you!
Love this! Let's not forget the kick ass branding now 😉😂
Go ALL the way...
How good does this branding look together?!
Letterheads, business cards, email footers, marketing material, adverts and merchandise.. just a few ways in which I can help develop your brand
I'm so honoured to have been asked to design the new branding for the newest accounting firm anyone who's anyone will be using.
After many years working for the family business, Gemma has taken the helm on her own business - Accounting Locally Limited (ALL) which will cover all types of accounting and is available to all.
I'm so excited to see this business take off and continue to support through marketing materials. Watch this space
Ooh we loves a rebrand!
A well established business wanted a revamp and bringing up to date, I was happy to oblige!
I love the new colour palette, responsive logo and pattern which can be used across all types of platforms and in marketing material.

WAPSG
Wotton Area Parenting Support Group are a new group in Wotton. Set up by two lovely ladies who have had experience with postnatal depression and anxiety, WAPSG helps and supports local parents because, let's face it, parenting is haaaard!
I wanted to create a logo which incorporated the letters of the group and formed the outline of a little family 🥰
Held on Mondays if you're a parent in the area why not go along to share knowledge, support others, seek help or just have a well deserved cuppa and cake! 🍰
😂
Can't resist a bandwagon when I see one!
They all look so good!
We are super excited to start awarding our puppies in the swim academy their badges! As they pass each grade, they are awarded another badge.

Although it's a bit early to fully get back into the 'swim' of things, I think it's important to keep the pencil moving and the creative ideas aflowin' while on mat leave.
I was asked by to design some doggy swim badges for their puppy swim academy as part of the growing canine hydro & physio therapy centre at Rio Pools.
I loved the uniqueness of this project so was happy to fit it in between nappy changes and burping 😅
I may have just had baby no.2 but this project has been my baby for a few years now.
I am positively bursting with pride and happiness to have been involved right from the very very early days when the business was just a concept to now - nippychecks finally out there in the world.
I'll never forget when I heard the idea of nippychecks, I went away and wrote some ideas down, and after a few days I approached Sam with my ideas promising I could offer a kick ass brand to support the concept. I knew how the branding would 'feel' I just didn't quite know what it looked like yet. After too many meetings and too many hats in the ring, the project died a death…that is until last year when Sam reignited it with a 'it's now or never' Two heads proved to be better than 5 as the nippychecks brand was born 💥
Go follow and let's all watch this amazing new business take off!!

Jeez that came around quickly! After THE cutest triple baby sprinkle yesterday with my bestest ones I do believe I am now on what they call 'maternity leave'
Naturally, this looks a bit different for a self-employed person, who is also responsible for a toddler but I'm getting ready to nest and prepare for the newest addition.
I'm not falling off the face of the earth and still have projects to wrap up, hand over, dabble with so please do contact me if you need any of my help, I'm just going to be slightly less responsive ✌️
xx
Now that's how Booyea does February...!
One website launch and one 140pg brochure turned around for one of my favourites
As the year is drawing to an end I wanted to take a look back over the year. 2021 has been a right old mixed bag of ups and downs, but I'm so grateful to have made it through the year as a freelancer.
So, thank you so much to everyone who has supported me this past year. It means so much to me when anyone enquires, uses my services, rings me for a brainstorm or recommends me. I've loved every job I've worked on as they're always so different with different problems to solve.
I feel very lucky to be able to work for myself, it's something I dreamt of doing for years but didn't have the balls (or motivation) to do. Becoming a Mum in 2019 gave me all the motivation I needed, being self employed has enabled me to be as involved in my son's life as much as I have and this is something that I will be eternally thankful for.
I've got some exciting jobs rolling over into 2022 and not forgetting my own personal project of growing baby no.2….(!)
I will be going on maternity leave from March so if there are any projects you want to discuss before I nip off for a while please do let me know.
Peace out for 2021 ✌️ xx

So happy to show this wonderful brand I've been working on for the lovely Gemma.
Gem has been established for some time now and it's so clear she loves every second of teaching. Gem wanted to elevate her business to something which reflects who she is, where she is and what she does.
Gem contacted me as she liked my previous work and felt she could trust me to find the solution and create a brand to encapsulate her teaching style.
As well as the given hint of Gem's first name, Gemma uses crystals daily and in her practice so she wanted a nod to gem stones, I then drew on this to create a colour palette reflective of the colours found in amethysts which are natural stress relievers, mood balancers and negativity dissolvers.
The final logo which we developed drew upon the outer shape being a typical gemstone icon, while internally the shapes formed the beautiful patterns of the yurt in which Gem teaches her classes. These shapes also make a gesture to the sun, moon and earth, all significant elements in yoga practice. Gem also interpreted the logo further, the cross hatch representing the tightening of muscles and fascia and sun rays are the release and flow of the breath.

Absolutely loved working on this project and making Carly's vision come to life!
An ideal client, Carly totally trusted me and the creative process, we went through the branding journey together and the end result is something we're both mega proud of.
I can't wait to see how this brand evolves as the business grows. ☺️clinic

I do like to use the birthdays of my besties babes (say that three times😅) to get my paints out but for some reason I've lost my Bob Ross mojo lately.
However, forever inspired by I created a photo / vector graphics collage for this beautiful one. ❤️

Very pleased to share the latest service I've been working on.
As one of the industry leading businesses, have a lot to say when it comes to grass and turf management. They meet all manner of folk up and down the country and thought creating a podcast would interest their existing customer as well as piquing the interest of potential customers.
I created the artwork for The Turf Hub, edited the podcasts, published to Spotify and managed the promotion.
Such a great way to target a wider audience and hit prospective customers. Do you think your business could benefit from this different approach to marketing?

I thought I'd share a few initial designs and progress designs for the recently completed Launchpad Collection.
As you can see, sometimes we go through a different variations, colourways, fonts and feels to really find 'the one' but more often than not it's the process itself that makes the final brand really feel complete

Positive client testimonials are part of the reason I called my business Booyea! It's the expression I feel I can use to express myself when a job is well done.
The prize of kind words and reassurance I’ve done my job and I’ve done it well makes me do a (really bad) happy dance (which may involve equally bad twerking)
I have saved this excerpt from an email to remind myself when some days feel like a struggle, when the burn out is all too real and when the past 365 days has felt like groundhog day, actually, I can do this.

I love it when someone asks me to create a logo for them. I smile, clap and nod approvingly when someone asks me to create a brand for them.
A logo is great, it’s your badge of honour, your business’ recognisable symbol but a logo does not maketh the brand.
Here are a few concept marketing examples from The Launchpad Collective. I loved creating the logo but the whole time I was creating the logo I was creating a brand.
I considered colours, fonts, application, positioning, the bigger picture, longevity, future proofing, audience, precedent, marketing… the list goes on and it’s often not just one linear road to the final product.
So, you see its so much more and I’m ALWAYS happy to talk about it if you were considering getting your business branded, or your current logo rejuvenated into a….BRAND!

I am so proud to be able to share my work for The Launchpad Collective Project.
It has been such an honour to be involved in such a great charity, let me fill you in on my journey with this project...
My son was coming up to his first birthday when the story of Ugandan Mercy Baguma was on the news. Mercy, had sought asylum in Glasgow and lived in extreme poverty. She died of malnourishment, her 1 year old son was found by her body crying.
This story stayed with me for days; knowing the extremes we’d go to as Mothers to give our child every last ounce of nourishment at the determinant of our own health, I thought about the poor baby, same age as my Son laid by his Mum till the end and couldn't shake the anger I felt over the fact this has been allowed to happen.
I have always wanted to work with charities, I have ran a few sponsored races, cut my hair, donated when I can but to give my time and skills for a charity has just felt more personal and fulfilling.
I saw an advertisement for a designer for a non-profit organization. I enquired and when I learnt the charity was supporting refugees to find employment it felt like fate. I don’t often bid for work but I knew in my gut this job was for me.
I was one of 8 designers who submitted proposals and was the chosen designer because the client could tell I ‘got them’, which, as a designer, especially a freelancer with no team as such was such a compliment.
After a few iterations and developmental stages we came to the final design and I’m proud to share it today.

Here's a cheeky (is that still a thing?!)
I created this brand for when Rich and Lo were hitting up the festival scene but as we know that scene screeched to a hault last year so I'm very happy to hear Food Envy will live to see another day catering for Film, TV and private functions.
Looking forward to sharing the latest evolution for Food Envy

Forever jealous of business owners whose name look this good as their logo!
You don't have to be a big business with a fancy pants name, small businesses rule and can look JUST as professional as the big dogs!
What do you think of this recently completed project?
