Taqseem Foundation’s Annual Day is held to commemorate the many achievements of the academic year. Our students have even working so hard this year and it’s only fair to also celebrate them and give them extra motivation to keep it going. This year’s annual day consisted of the award ceremony, a surprise visit from a DR, & many speeches to successfully conclude the day. The digital lab at Taqseem Foundation has been a success! Our students have shown insane amounts of progress in terms of learning computer skills. We stared with the basics and now our students are able to create PDFS & Worksheets. They can also prompt CHAT GPT and are expert around the ways of MS Word. The dedication our students have put in to learn the ways around the digital world has proved to be so fruitful as it has now equipped them with essential skills that can help them acquire jobs. As we welcome our new batch of interns very soon, we can’t help but look back at last year’s internship which was Taqseem Foundation’s first ever internship. The group of interns we had were extremely hardworking and will remain a special batch nonetheless. With that being said we are looking forward to a great internship with our new batch. They were selected from a large pool of applicants and we are so excited to be working with such individuals. We have a lot planned including an enticing social media presence, more fundraising and lots of new work in the process! We can not wait to get the show on the road

At Taqseem, alongside education we focus on vocational training to equip our students with essential skills that can aid them in securing jobs and moving up the ladder. One such training program we introduced recently was Stiching also known as Silai. We were pleasantly surprised to see our students already excel in the field and they have been creating bespoke pieces. We cannot wait to show you more things our students have been working on! At Taqseem Foundation, the learning never stops. We aim to prioritize consistent teacher training programs so that our teachers stay up to date with the latest techniques so that our students can benefit to the fullest. Not only do we revise old skills but also learn new ones that are more fitted towards on going changes, challenges and concerns. @rha_pakistan has been supporting Taqseem Foundation since the start of our journey. The Robin Hood Army has been generous enough to bestow the children and families of Taqseem with donuts, vegetables and ration bags. This was one of the larger donations where they supplied ration to over 135 families. We are so grateful for foundations such as @rha_pakistan who dedicate everything for the betterment of our people, Pakistani’s. They have never stepped away from contributing to our NGO and have proven to be great collaborators. Thank you for always helping Taqseem Foundation! Certificate Ceremony You may remember from our last week that our students completed a basic software skills development workshop by the help of @szabistofficial We also held a little certificate ceremony to congratulate our students for their rigorous commitment to learn new skills. Taqseem Foundation is extremely appreciative of all those who came to help our students learn software skills. The attention to detail, organization and overall attitude was applaudable. At Taqseem Foundation, we aim to cater to a number of important aspects of education. One being improving fine motor skills. So we made our students do a little activity in their free time which served to be a great way of perfecting fine motor skills and having a little play time during breaks! Our students love doing these little activities as they also serve a break from intense study time!

The library at Taqseem Foundation has become a focal area where we often find students spending their time in. Not only do we see our students voluntarily pick up books to read, but also often study here and use the books as resources. We encourage our teachers to reinforce the importance of such an area and how are students can utilize it to their advantage. After all having a library at Taqseem-E-Ilm has become a quintessential feature that we are so grateful to have. It gives our students and teachers the same school environment and really alleviates the standard of education we provide!

Candid Conversations with Iman! Catch Iman- Our CoFounder interacting with a very sweet Dadi/ Grandmother. Without the feedback of family, it becomes difficult to continue to grow and expand Taqseem whilst maintaining the quality and standard of education we strive for. Dadi was more than satisfied with her granddaughter’s school experience at Taqseem Foundation.
