Hey everyone…..
Happy Christmas to all our friends.

Mr Brown & his vintage vibration are playing this Sunday afternoon at the Royal Pines Golf Course out in the terrace garden .
It’s a wonderful spot to watch the afternoon drift by. It’s a free gig. The food is yummy and not too expensive.
We may be joined by special guest musicians.

Played a fun private party at the Clock hotel tuesday night . The magnificent Krissy joined us on the keys for our Jazz & Blues Gatsby show. So good……She wowed the audience with a magic version of Fleetwood Mac’s Songbird for our last number of the night .

Nicole sang beautifully after recently recording the new Jazz Kings Album. And a successful show at the Tweed Vally Jazz Club last week. ( thanks Scrubby )
Had a first listen today.
Blue Jazz …..recorded by Scott Whitman .
It’s very cool .

Great to be back playing after a well deserved break.
So excited to have John Whyte on the keys for a private show next week . And…… beyond blessed to be sharing our music with the legendary Mal Capewell and hanging out with Pat. ❤️

Been a good couple of weeks.
A drumming gig in Brissy with the Grumpy Old Men. ( a great covers band )
Drumming with Frazer and Mel and many guests at the Den Devine jazz night. ( next gig is the 20th )
A fun DJ Xmas party for my sisters work…..
And a couple of Christmas jams with mates.

Peace love and music to all FB friends .
Thank you.

Hello again….
Last gig for a while.
The Vintage Vibration are having a well deserved break after a very busy few months of playing music with our various projects.

This Sunday the 20th, a free gig at the Royal Pines Tees restaurant over looking the golf course ….

It’s a wonderful venue and lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. ( check the photo for details and phone number for booking a table )
Its a semi posh, but laid back kinda Beer and Chardonnay garden. Outdoors

IMPORTANT INFORMATION….This week instead of Jazz n Blues and bit of story telling.
We have decided to change Mr Brown & his Vintage Vibrations line up …. Jazz legend Mal Capewell is just not cool enough. 60 years of professional playing and touring the world playing sax…..he’s not experienced enough. He’s being pushed aside.

So we have a new Jug player for the heavy metal songs, we’ve decided we need a dude on French Horn for the Korean pop songs…..I’m focusing on playing only cowbell. Everyone’s yelling “More cowbell “

We have a new hair rock guitarist, he’s great in the religious spirituals and country and western songs we have lined up….. and a new chick bass player who also plays Oboe and the spoons and screams Yoko Ono covers really well.

The beautiful and talented Nicole Parker Brown won’t be singing jazz n blues . She is featuring her Tibetan Throat singing talents but with a Reggae skank ska feel.

So….. come along. Support our last gig before a break. The food is yummy and not too expensive and it seems you can kinda bring your dogs.

Pit bulls particularly welcome at the Royal Pines.
Last gig there was well behaved dogs all over the place ….. maybe check that out if you book a table.

If your one of our blues guitar mates…. And you come to watch. You may get the call up for a couple…. Practice in the key of B #.

Hope to see yas. 2 pm to 5pm this Sunday.
Thanks for supporting live music .
Bring a hat….
Maybe don’t bring your pit bull.

We had a fantastic night playing for the opening of Babylon at the Palace in Byron Bay a week or so ago.

Mr Brown & his Vintage Vibration featuring Nicole Parker Brown & the legend Mr Mal Capewell…..our set perfectly suited the era and genre of this incredible film.

We hung around and caught the film…. What a crazy movie.
How’s this old photo of Mal. He is coolest of cats. What an incredible career he has had. So blessed to play with man.

Thanks to Oz from the Byron Bay film festival for the pics.

We were playing our set and I noticed Pat ( Mals beautiful partner ) wasn’t around….. she finally showed up.
Pat ( a very experienced nurse) has been saving a dudes life after having a serious medical episode on the street.
