Hey family! It's been a sharing day today :) Along with some photos I wanted to share this little wrap of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Cultural Program project I was involved in.
It all wrapped up in January this year and I was asked to share my experience remotely which was such an honour and blessing.
I'm so proud of my country and it is always at the forefront of my projects. I'm very grateful to have been involved in this project and wanted to share with you all 🇵🇬❤️💛🖤

Well, it may have only been for a few seconds, and just my back - but I'm super proud to have been involved in this film and particularly this scene as piano player/singer Marie Knight opposite the incredible Yola who plays Sister Rosetta Tharpe! Not a bad role for my first Hollywood film. I'm reminded that Samuel L Jackson and Viola Davis didn't break out till they were in their 40's!
