Lest we forget

These words are heavy on our heart today. Because it feels like we are forgetting. We are all so focussed on so many things right now, sometimes thankfulness and gratitude are last on our lists.

Today I am thankful that while our “why” doesn’t cause me to have to go overseas and fight in a war, that there were men and women who gave their all so that we could be afforded the life we have today.
