I am still making my way through fall/winter commissions. Thanks everyone for keeping me painting! π¨
Ornaments! So many ornaments β¨οΈ
I enjoy doing these ones as it is nice to have an option for a memorial piece at a lower price point that people don't have to reserve a spot for. I hope to bring them back next year too!
A few of these are not memorials, but gifts to celebrate a loved one π
Thank you everyone for your orders π₯°

Hello friends! I hope you are all finding moments of peace in the midst of the festive season. I've been quiet on my page - family life has been especially busy these days - but I've been busy working on your Christmas orders (which are being kept hidden for now!)
I am excited to share that I am taking orders once again for memorial ornaments! It is a little later than I had hoped, as life got pretty busy this fall - but better late than never. Some of you have been asking about them and I am pleased to share that they are back!
I am offering two designs this year: the Rainbow Bridge memorial ornaments (for pets) or the angel feather ornament (appropriate for pets or people). Both can be personalized with your loved one's name. Each ornament measures 3.5 to 4" across. They are hand painted with acrylic paint and glitter on pine wood slices, and sealed in resin.
Rainbow Bridge ornament: $18 Cdn
Angel Feather: $13 Cdn
These ornaments can ship by letter mail! Canada-wide shipping is available for an extra $3.50. Shipping to the U.S. is available for $5 (Canadian dollars). Payment is taken by e-transfer (available to Canadian residents) or Pay Pal (available to Canadian or U.S. residents, subject to a 5% transaction fee).
If you need your piece shipped, please have your order in by Thursday, December 7th at 8 p.m.
Orders that require shipping will be prepared first. Local pick up is available in North Kildonan, Winnipeg.
I will take orders until Sunday, December 10th at 8 p.m., or until they sell out...whichever comes first!
To order, please send me a message through Facebook messenger or email [email protected]. Please include the style of ornament that you want, the name you want, and specify if you want shipping or local pick up. If shipping is required, include the address.
I will respond to incoming emails throughout the day today. Please bear with me if there is a slight delay, when I make these posts the emails tend to come in fast and furiously!
Thanks everyoneπβοΈ

This is a special memorial, made to honour a special lady. Wilhelmina was born in Holland, and so the windmill and tulip fields (in her favourite colour, red) are perfect to remember her with. A tree has been planted in her honour, and this stone will find a home beside the tree.

Hello friends 𧑠I wanted to thank you for your support of Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre this past Truth and Reconciliation Day. A donation was made this morning to support their healing village (please see comments).
It is amazing to see communities coming together to support one another! β€οΈ
Miigwetch...merci...thank you!
Hello friends! Just a quick reminder on this eve before Truth and Reconciliation Day that prints of "A New Landscape" are available for purchase until tomorrow, with 100% of the proceeds going to Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre .
Wishing you all a meaningful day π§‘
And the winner of the fundraising piece is...Lori Larkin! Number 21 was chosen by a random number generator. Congratulations! π₯³
Thank you to all of you who donated money to help Sabina with her rehab and therapies. It truly takes a village!
I have to share...together you raised $185...a little more than expected...and some wanted to give extra, and some wanted to give even without being able to snag a spot on the wheel.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping the Schwabe family! π§‘
Hello friends! I will be doing the draw for the fundraising piece tomorrow...Tuesday, September 26th, at 7:00 p.m. The result will be posted on this page and the winner will be contacted.
Thank you everyone for caring about others. It takes a village! π₯°
UPDATE: All spots are gone! Thank you so much, everyone! I can't believe how quickly they went. Your support means the world! ππ
I'll announce the draw in the next couple of days...clearly I don't need to wait until Thanksgiving π
Hello friends!
I have something unique for you...a raffle! Please let me explain.
I posted this week about some of my creations that are waiting for new homes at Schwabe Pumpkins . This family farm has been a part of our family's fall time memories since the time that I was a child and my grandpa would go. They have been so generous to allow me to showcase my pieces these last years. Their welcome was so exciting to me as an artist!
This family has had a pretty rough year. First a stroke, and then a mental health crisis for their daughter, Sabina. Thankfully, she survived but she has suffered an anoxic brain injury.
She spent several weeks in hospital and was finally well enough to be discharged. She requires extensive ongoing therapies in order to re-learn skills and continue her recovery.
I made this piece to help the Schwabe family with these ongoing expenses.
Here's how it works:
25 spots are available to win the piece. Each spot is $5. More than one spot can be purchased by the same person. You pick your numbers! Payment is made by e-transfer.
The piece will be delivered to the winner, and will be shipped at no expense to the winner if required.
The piece measures 6.5 inches tall by 5" wide, at the longest sides. It is acrylic, resin and glitter on Santorini Stone.
Spots are available until full, or until Thanksgiving Day (Monday, October 9th)...whichever comes first.
If interested, please send a message over Facebook messenger. I will respond with the details!
Available numbers are in the comments below.
Thank you for your willingness to lend a helping hand to those in our communities who need it most β€οΈ

Boozhoo, tansi, and hello!
Here in Canada, we are once again preparing for the third annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which falls on September 30th. The day honours the children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
Once again, I am selling giclee art prints and mugs of my painting, "A New Landscape". This piece is meant to educate about our shared history, while raising funds for a very worthy cause.
100% of the proceeds of these sales will be donated to Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre. For more information on Clan Mothers and the work they are doing, please visit https://clanmothers.ca
Prints are available for shipping Canada-wide. Mugs are available for local pick up in North Winnipeg (no shipping for mugs at this time).

Hello friends! I am busy planning what the fall is going to look like with Carly Sanders Art. I have organized the requests that have come in for this session and tried to schedule a spot for everyone based on the time that they require their piece for, and taking into account if they require shipping or can pick up locally.
Please check your emails - if you were expecting a confirmation but did not receive it, then please let me know!
I am excited for painting season to begin!
Grandparents' love is special...even from heaven β€οΈ
My favourite pieces to do have been those when family members who never had a chance to meet are painted together. It is such a joy to see the missed loved one beside a grandchild, a sibling, or another special person. Two or sometimes three different photographs are referenced to paint the whole family together for one special piece.
