Today we lay my Gang Gang to rest. He lived to be 86 years old and let me tell ya he never lost his spirit once. When I was growing up on the farm I spent a lot of time with Gang Gang. We would herd cattle, fix fences, raise to***co, cut, tether, rake & roll hay to be taken to the farm for the cattle to eat, and we would work on the old tractor. I learned a lot from this great man. He taught me how to be tough, he taught me the value of hard work, he taught me a lot about being positive and he instilled beliefs into me that I still carry with me today. This is exactly how I remember him, in a Toyota farm truck wearing blue Jean overalls with a white t shirt underneath. He seemed to wear that everyday. He always had cotton candy bubble gum to give me when I was helping him do things. Every time I see a pack of that gum I think of him and always will. I remember the countless times I would say “Gang Gang you’re bleeding” because he had cut himself on some barb wire and didn’t even know it. He would just wipe it away and keep moving. I know these past few years were hard on him because he couldn’t get around like he always had before. He loved the outdoors, fishing, farming, and anything that involves being outside whether that was work or leisure. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me Gang Gang and thank you for helping make me who I am today 🙏 I love you ❤️ till we meet again….I hope you’re fishing in heaven with all of your brothers and family. You are one of the greatest men I’ve ever known and it’s an honor being a descendant of you. I hope I make you proud and I hope to see you again one day. RIP Gang Gang
