Just completed this piece and it is heading to The Tin Can for our October Market. This Lane cedar blanket chest was manufactured on March 19, 1951! It's older than me😳 The top and drawer were sanded to reveal the beautiful mahogany then sealed with several coats of poly. The remainder was painted with Heirloom Iron Gate (black) and new hardware was added.
