Hey my fellow podcast lovers! I have a brand new season of the launching tomorrow. I went on hiatus for over a year and now ready more than ever to bring you my favorite people and their amazing journeys.
I share this day with a more important cause, the National day for truth and reconciliation. Tomorrow is and we will honor the victims of residential school systems. The government-sponsored religious schools were established to assimilate our Indigenous children and stripped them of their cultural identity. Let us honor those who came before us, and those who have survived. 🧡

In August of 2019, I had the privilege of speaking with Chief Judge White for the Rezzilient podcast, episode 3. I remember laughing together and going on many different tangents during our conversation. In the moments we were able to get back on track we talked about her upbringing, family, life experiences, higher education, her journey into the judiciary field, Tribal gaming experience, as well as, serving other Native communities judicial systems. So extraordinary was Chief Judge White that our conversation lasted four hours; I managed to turn it into an hour long segment for the podcast. I asked for three pictures to use for her podcast interview and she sent over 20 and we joked about my inbox being over capacity. It was a good laugh. Chief Judge White was well versed in a variety of subjects, incredibly humorous, factual, a lover of hip hop, a mother, sister, an advocate for MMIW, and so many other wonderful things. As our community mourns the loss of great Kwatsan woman, I personally will forever remember her passion and advocacy for our culture ✊🏽
