“Tips to survive Heat Waves”

•Drink plenty of water.
•Take shower.
•Wear loose-fitting and light coloured clothes.
•Limit tea, coffee and smoking.
•Keep wet towel on your head in extreme heat.
•Limit outdoor time.
•Have yogurt, lassi, etc.
•Rest a bit in the afternoon when possible.
•Avoid temperature shock. If you’re coming from extreme heat, allow your body to gradually adjust. Drink water slowly. Spend a few minutes in a moderately cool area before moving into the full blast of AC.

۔بارش اور میں۔
یہ چمکتی ہوئی بجلی جیسے آسماں کی آنکھ ہو
یہ گرجتا ہوا بادل جیسے ارمانوں کی راکھ ہو

یہ کالی گھٹا جیسے اپنی سیاہی سے ڈرتی ہو
یہ گم صم ہوا جیسے ادھر ادھر بھٹکتی ہو

یہ سہمی ہوئی مٹی خود سے تھک کے گرتی ہو
اپنی ہی خوشبو میں خود ہی پھر بکھرتی ہو

پھر برستی ہوئی بارش جیسے ضبط توڑ بیٹھی ہو
آسماں کی پلکوں سے آنسو بن کے بہتی ہو

پھر وہ پل بھی آتا ہے بجلی شرما کر چھپ جاتی ہے
یہ بادل ، یہ گھٹا ، یہ ہوا بھی کھلکھلاتی ہے

مٹی بھی بارشیں اوڑھے بچے کی طرح سوجاتی ہے
درد کے بادل چھٹتے ہیں برسات بھی تھم جاتی ہے

پھر روشن فضا آکر آسماں کا دل لبھاتی ہے
سترنگی یہ دھنک پھر اپنے رنگ دکھاتی ہے

یہ بارش اکثر پیغام سنگ یہ لاتی ہے
ہر جل تھل کے بعد ہی زندگی مسکراتی ہے

"THe DIVINE LIGHT"

"Allah tamam aasmano aur zameen ka noor hai."

Roshni wo jo rasta dikhati hai. jo sab kuch ayan (wazeh) kr deti hai. Jis k bad kisi bhi shak, dhoke ya fareb ki gunjaish nh rehti.

To the Sufis, nūr is the first creation of Allah, and all other things and beings were gradually created from it. Allah Noor hai jo tamam jahano ke noor ko roshan aur zahir karta hai. Is ka Noor dil ko munawwar karta hai aur sidhi raah ki taraf rahnumai karta hai. Jo koi is haqiqi roshni se mu morta hai wo taariki main chor dia jata hai.

"Allah jise chaahe apny noor ki raah batata hai aur misaalen bayan farmata hai logo (ko smajhane) k liye aur Allah sab kuch janta hai." (An-noor, 35)

"The Best Trustee"

Hasbunallahu Wa Ni'mal Wakeel is a very powerful ayah from the Glorious Qur'an, Surah Al-Imran (3:173). A strong Dua that can overcome fear, anxiety, or distress. According to Hadees, this Dua was sufficient for Prophet Ibrahim (may peace be upon him). Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: When (Prophet) Ibraheem (AS) was thrown into the fire, he said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs." So did Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (P.B.U.H), when he was told: "A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them". But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)" - [Al-Bukhari] As seen in the meaning itself, it says Allah is sufficient for us. What else do we need, when we have Allah (SWT) on our side? This is indeed a very strong Dua to overcome whatever problems you face.

"How comforting it is to see a happy couple. Well, tell me about your story. Where did u first meet him?" She asked.
"In Venice...On December 24th." She looked at him with love in her eyes.
He smiled at her and got busy again with the children.
"What made u fall in love with him?"
"It's not an especial story. It was Christmas Eve and I was lost in the crowd...My phone's battery was dead...I was so confused and afraid at that time..then he came and helped me to find my friends...He stayed with me until my friends came..he joined our group and we all became friends..l find him so mature and decent which made me like him..after 2 months we decided to get married..then we met each other's family and now we are together. After marriage, I've got to know that he is far more than what I had known about him. The way he cares, respects, and loves me, no one else could have ever done this. It was the best decision of my life.

جتن کیے ہیں خوش رہنے کے لیکن دل اداس رہا ہے
آنسو پلکوں پہ جھولتے ہیں نہ گیت غمگین گنگنانا

تمہارے آنے کی اک خبر سے دل کو پھر سے آس ہوئی ہے
خواب نیندوں سےجاگ اٹھےہیں خوشی کوکوئی ملابہانہ

گئے برس کی حماقتوں نے سکھا دیئے ہیں گر زندگی کے
اب خود کے لیے ہمیں ہے جینا خودی کے لیے ہے مسکرانا

کوئی اپنا سدا نہیں ہے ، اس جہاں کو بقا نہیں ہے

"سفرنامہ"

ملائشیا میں چھ دن گزار کراندازہ ہوا کہ مذہبی ہونے اور انتہا پسند ہونے میں بہت فرق ہوتا ہے۔ یہاں ہرخاتون کو حجاب میں کام کرتے دیکھا۔ روڈ پر جھاڑو سے لے کر ملٹی نیشنل کمپنیز کے آفسز تک خواتین حجاب کر کے موٹر سائیکل چلا رہی ہیں اور کوئی انہیں گھورتا نہیں۔
ایک مالے کی لڑکی کو حجاب میں تکےوالا اسٹال چلاتے دیکھا تو دل میں خیال آیا یہ لڑکی یہاں روڈ کے کنارے کھڑی ہو کر تکے بیچ سکتی ہےمگر میرے ملک پاکستان میں اگر کوئی لڑکی بس کے انتظار میں روڈ کے کنارے کھڑی ہو تو نو سال سے لے کر نوے سال تک کی عمر کے مرد اپنی آنکھوں سے اس کا تکہ بنا دیتے ہیں۔
ہم پاکستانیوں کو یہ غلط فہمی ہے کہ ہم مذہبی ہیں۔ ہم مذہبی نہیں شدت پسند، تنگ نظر اور دوغلے ہیں۔

It's a reminder for all of you. Think of the purpose of our beloved pakistan. Is this a pakistan which Jinnah wanted for us? Is it a freedom which we celebrate? At that time we needed a country. Now the country needs us. Kindly eradicate the difference of cast, creed and status. Be a Nation. Try to respect everyone's faith. Try to argue with mannerism. Try to preach with kind words. Try to spread love instead of hate. Try not to increase the problems. Try to give a solution to the problems.
I hope soon we would feel the freedom which we celebrate every year.

On this day of baqra eid don't forget to help needy people around you. Remember that your meat is not for storing in freezer but to share with needy people specially who don't like to ask even in need. Eid ul Adha is about sacrifice. Learn to sacrifice your precious things for the sake of Allah and you will feel the peace beyond telling.
