Dr. Olusegun Ogboye, Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Ministry of Health, highlighted the challenges and responsibilities faced by the government in digital health innovation during his keynote address at the Africa Digital Health Summit 2023. Despite financial and skill limitations, he emphasized the government's role in setting policy tones for innovation.

He stressed the importance of public-private collaboration, leveraging expertise and technology investments to catalyze digital health systems.
