Our final vendor that will be joining us next week on Granville Island is !

All pieces are handknit in Vancouver, BC. With life always being so busy Shellina craved for something that would allow her to slow down, create and meditate. Wool Parade was created out of a desire to make quality items that are loved and last a lifetime. As Wool Parade, Shellina creates chunky handknit garments using natural fibers that are sustainable, ethically sourced and environmentally friendly.

We are so excited to have Lisa Warren] joining us for our December Pop-Up!

Lisa Warren is an experienced ceramicist having worked as a potter for more than 10 years, with a strong focus on wheel throwing and functional ware. Over the years she has taught classes, workshops, and has been a studio technician. She is the current studio manager of the West End Community Centre and has her own private studio.

Born and raised in BC, Lisa studied ceramics at Langara College, and completed her arts degree at UBC with a focus on Fine Arts. Constantly learning, she has also built her knowledge through workshops at Emily Carr, Shadbolt Centre for the Art, and has also opened several pottery studios. Additionally, you’ll find her work in shops across the province of British Columbia and throughout Canada.

Introducing MÉTANGE | Gua Sha +] to Kynd!

Métange is a beauty concept brand based on self-healing. Inspired by the restorative effects of traditional Eastern healing techniques, their tools are created to relieve face and body tension using the massage practice of gua sha. Made of obsidian (a natural black glass rock used for its healing properties), their stone tools are designed to elevate self-care practices through ritual.

The brand name Métange combines 3 words: Meili (meaning “beautiful” in Mandarin Chinese), Mélange (meaning “blend” in French) and Me tangere (meaning “touch” in Latin).
