✨CRYSTAL CLEANSING✨

There are so many ways we can charge and cleanse our crystals! But we have to be careful when selecting this - as some methods can lead to damage 😔

So, here are some ways you can cleanse your crystals and make sure you are keeping them safe at the same time 🥰

1. Moonlight
The full moon is one of the safest ways to cleanse your crystals. All you have to do is place the crystal outside (somewhere where it is connected to the earth works best, but if you don't have access to this a windowsill works fine too!) then leave it overnight under the full moon. This method is safe for all crystals ✨

2. Sunlight
Leaving your crystals in the sunlight for 6+ hours is another great way to cleanse them! Be sure to check that your crystals are sun-safe, as some colours will fade when in direct sunlight for too long (eg. amethyst, Celestite, rose quartz)✨

3. Water
Water is said to neutralise negative energies stored in your crystal and return it back to the earth. Natural running water works best, but I tend to just use a tap and set intentions as I go. Make sure that your stone is completely submerged, and pat dry when complete. Water damages some crystals (such as selenite, moonstone, fluorite) so once again; be sure to do your research ✨

4. Smoke
Burning incense or herbs is another way of cleansing your crystals. Two of my favourites are sage and Palo Santo, but using incense works just as well when you set your intentions. To do this, put your crystals in a fire-safe bowl, and use your herbs or incense to fill the bowl and cover the crystals with smoke. This is safe for all crystals ✨

5. Selenite
If you have access to a large piece of selenite, it is a great way to cleanse your smaller crystals! It is a self-cleansing crystal and is said to amplify and purify the energy of other crystals. Place them on / inside the selenite for 24 hours. This is safe for all crystals ✨

Crystals hold on to positive and negative energies that they are exposed to, so it is important to cleanse and charge them regularly to restore them back to their natural state 🥰🍃✨
