Life is sacred. Knowing where your children, friends and family at all times is important when near even the safest of waters. Teaching water safety is crucial. Staying hydrated and healthy is important too. Although, we couldn't save the boy, on the day I was there, me and many kind strangers ran in quickly to help the park staff to create a hand to hand chain rescue to search for the boy who drowned. In holding hands with strangers it reminded us that in humanity there are many good people willing to come together. Obviously, to know when it is safe to help and not is important too when assisting in a rescue scenario. Our prayers to the young man who passed. These selfless acts are important, and all those who jumped in without question made a lasting impression on me.

I have seen too many times that people trash things rather than take care of their items. My father instilled these two things in me #1 - OHIO, "Only handle it once" (meaning do it right the first time). And, #2 - Take care and pride in what you own or have been grateful enough to be able to own and afford. In America we have taken things for granted. Here below is a picture of my coolers that were cleaned after my beach trip. These are almost 10 years old already and almost still look brand new. Take the time to take care of your items, and if you don't want them anymore, or are unwilling to take the effort to keep them nice consider passing them along or donating your items! REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE 😁🌎♻️✅

Don't throw out books, a great way to recycle or pass on books is either to find a "take a book leave a book," lending library, or little free library. This is an example of one in Cape May, New Jersey. It's also a great way to encourage our kids and youth to read. This station had both an adult and kids one.
